I've had to deny a request to join for the first time ever. Why?
The request was from Sashen1, who decided to make ignorant comments about how we lost a war to America about 200 years ago.
People like that really get under my skin for some reason. rolleyes

*blink* Why on earth would anyone bring that up? I'm going to take a guess that this person was from the U.S.A., in which case I appologize on behalf of my countryman's lack of manners. redface *sigh* Most of my fellow citizins are so ignorant of our history it's disgusting, why one of them had to do something insulting and just plain dumb with what little knowledge he has is beyond me.

You know what's really ironic? During the war of independence this american guy invented the rifle. Everyone was using muskets before then. The rifle was more accurate and easier to load. He supported the British so he sold his idea to them. The rifles were used in one battle and the americans were completely wiped out. We would've won the war but unforunately the general in charge of the battle decided never to use them again as it was "unsporting".
