2. Fire creation
a) Flame shove - Ratten's hands become covered in fire, and he pushes his opponent, burning them. - Damage: 5
b) Flame toss - Ratten creates a ball of flame in his hand, and throws it towards his opponent. - Damage: 7

a) Shock - Ratten grabs onto the opponent, and conducts a powerful amount of electricity through their body. - Damage: 7

Ratten sniffed the air quietly, slowly lifting his hand to his chest. He could tell by the sound of the flapping wings that this was the flying boy he had seen before. He knew he should use a ranged offense first, to reduce the chance of him getting in the air and keeping him from attacking up close. In one quick swipe, Ratten flicked a burning sphere in Jon's direction.

Fortunately for Jon, he was just about the launch as Ratten attacked, so he quickly flew up to avoid it. It hit him in the leg, doing less damage than it would have done if it hit anywhere else. He moved closer, slowly and carefully, in an unpredictable zig-zag path through the air. Before he signed up for the battle, he'd been unsure whether he wanted to fight Ratten; he didn't look quite up to it, honestly. But that attack had been well-calculated - Ratten had been here a lot longer than Jon, he realised. Reigning in his worry, Jon went for a flying kick to Ratten's chest.

Ratten was too busy preparing his next move to avoid Jon's kick. "Hm..." he mumbled to himself, "I've never fought someone who could fly... this could be more interesting..." His leg suddenly spun out as if it was it's own animal. It had become much larger, nearly the size of Ratten's torso, and large claws had appeared on it's toes. It swung over right at Jon's stomach.

Jon exhaled sharply as Ratten got him in the stomach. Staggering back, he feinted to the left, as is he were going to punch with his stronger left arm, then pulled back at the last second, turning slightly to bring his leg up, using the force to push his other leg off the floor, and bringing them round in an arc, aimed at Ratten's chest and shoulders.

Ratten was thrown to the ground, and he ground his teeth together in pain, one of his ribs snapping itself back into place, but he was glad to hear the breath knocked out of Jon by his own kick. He rolled up to his feet, and in one fluid movement, swung his leg back at Jon's abdomen as it quickly morphed into that of an animal, hoping that he would not move.

More prepared for Ratten's kick this time, Jon flew up, so the attack only caught him on the leg. However, the force from it made him lose speed as he plummeted down, fists out, to knock Ratten to the floor.

Ratten's arm seemed to be momentarily covered by some black stone material, which blocked the blow, but cracked around the elbow. The material sunk into his skin, and he cringed in pain. His leg swung once more towards Jon. This fight seemed to be getting boring for him, with him just slamming against him every time, perhaps he would try something else soon...

Jon was forced back, but while Ratten was recovering from the blow, he quickly dodged aaround and delivered a punch to the stomach, then one to the jaw, then a final one to the chest.

Ratten fell back to the ground, and coughed onto the ground. Some dirt, and someone else's blood came out. He quickly jumped to his feet and swung around towards Jon, a new energy running through him with this pain. Ratten pulled all the electrons up from the earth, and his hair stood on end. He walked carefully towards Jon, and with a small push, all of Jon's loose electrons had left his body. A storm cloud loomed above. There was a smell of ozone, and a flash.

Jon realised what was going on, and, feeling weak, but managing to move somehow, he dodged the lightning block, allowing it to only hit his converse, which melted. Recovering, and allowing his wings - which were bristling with static - to lift him. Flying full pelt at Ratten, he kicked him hard in the sternum.

Ratten coughed again, shrugging off the blow as well as he could, but under his coat, his stomach seemed much less... solid than before. A bit of broken glass fell to the ground, and blood dripped from his lip. "Dang it..." He mumbled, and tried again. Jon had regained the usual, stable atomic structure from the strike in the air, but Ratten struggled, and managed to pry the newcomers loose once more, leaving him vulnerable.

((Only his loose electrons, it would work. Is there any system implemented to keep a person from just using an attack over and over?))

Close to defeat, Jon was unable to even block. His wings sizzled and became unusable. Mustering his last inch of strength, he stood and lunged toward Ratten, delivering a punch to the stomach, then the chest, and then - a variation on his normal attack - one to the face.
