For my new job, I have to wear pants all the time. I will work 5 days a week, or maybe even more so I need quite a lot new pants, since I only own one pair of jeans.
The thing is, I do not find jeans comfortable, suit-like pants are not really suitable for in a laboratory, and I find sweatpants homewear. Do you have any suggestions for what kind of pants I should look for?

I like the Editors from Express. They are dress-like pants but they have several different fabrics and cuts to choose from and I think they're pretty comfortable.
I think you're going to have to just go and try on several different styles and fabrics in the stores to see how it fits/moves/feels etc because based on what you don't want- you've pretty much eliminated all of your options.

Yoga pants! So ******** comfy, plus they look pretty proffesional, I just wear the colourfull bands they have up over my tummy so they just look like plain black pants. Plus you can pick them up pretty cheap if you look for some deals. I've got like 5 pairs, the most i've spent on them has been $20.
For my school uniform we are just required to wear black pants so they work perfect. For my work uniform we are required to wear black pants that have belt loops on them. But I cheat by wearing a belt tight around my waist so it doesn't fall off. Only one person at my work actually noticed I've been wearing yoga pants.

I'll have to bike 45 minutes in them no matter what the weather is D=

They are pretty thin but you can wear thicker pants underneath. In the winter I wear leggings underneath, and when its really cold I've even worn PJ pants underneath and it looked fine, you could also do longjohns. They are made out of a very flexible material so its really comfortable to wear other pants underneath.
