into

Not that long ago maybe 18 years the least. A man known as Maximillion Pegasus was looking for new ideas for cards in a childrens card came, world known. He stumbled apon a thick, tall, stone tablet with a beautiful dragon carved into it. Not wanting to lose the chance to draw such a beast he began working, halfway through the stone tablet, which had not a scratch in site, broke in two right down the middle.

A year later a great white dragon with one wing made an attempt to return to life as a human. Another dragon, covered in black and red, was flying aimlessly through the night sky when he noticed the dying beast.

"White dragon, why did you leave the safty of the tablet? If you try to be born you will die."

"Black dragon! Please let me go to, my beloved has been born again and i must be with him!"

red-eyes black dragon pondered on her words for a short time knowing that she had little time to begin with. He sighed then, offered his help. Blue eyes gladly acepted. The white dragon was born again into a family of secret preists. She had long white hair with blue streaks, and blue eyes. However she was only half a soul. Black dragon spoke to the child.

"i will fill up the empty part of your ba, and become your ka, because you are half of Kisara your name shall be Kisa, and i will protect you for the rest of your life."

At this time Seto was a year old, and Kisa's left eye turned red in color.

This is the first step towards the reunion of the great preist and his true love...

chapter 1

Kisa looked at her opponent victoriously. "Now go my darkness dragon end this duel!" She yelled. A red eyes darkness dragon swooped down onto her opponent's side of the feild, depleting his lifepoints to zero.

"Kisa your good," laughed the boy.

Kisa laughed. "Aw your just saying that." Suddenly her watch began to beep. "Ooops i'm going to be late! see you later," she called out as she took the reins of her black stallion and galloped off.

Two little kids sat at the edge of the city gates. They had the same black messy hair and golden eyes.

"When is Kisa coming?" One asked.

"Soon Kara, soon," answered her brother.

The black stallion that carried Kisa slowed to a trot as she neared the children, once she came to a complete stop, she jumped off and gave them a hug.

"Quickly, before they know were here," she whispered lifting them one at a time onto the horse, then sitting behind them she had the horse walk off.

"Where are we staying now Kisa?" Her brother asked turning to see his sister's face.

Kisa looked at her brother and smiled. "We're going to the northern temple," she answered. Then had the horse go into a gallop.

When they stopped they were infront of an ancient egyptian temple. The sandy pillars were breaking apart, and the old tongue was scattered accross the walls.

"Come now before night falls, i have prepared everything so that we wont waist preshis sun light," she said helping them off the saddle, then hand-in-hand she led them, and the horse, inside the temple.

"This is a safe place for now," Kisa smiled then showed them where they were going to sleep. There was three beat up sleeping bags, a pile of hay, and some food.

Kisa started a fire as the other two got settled.

"Sis, when can we go back to the village?" the brother asked as he munched on his bread.

Kisa was silent. The truth was, was that she could never go back to any town, village, or city. because she is a theif. The only people who would take her and her siblings are her friends, who are part of a family who guard the pharaoh's tomb, and she doesn't want to get her yonger siblings involved.

"Soon, Mika, soon," she lied.

"Kisy, why do we change homes everyday?" Her littler sister asked.

"Because," Kisa said then took up a torch and walked back to the emtrance of the temple. An hour passed. Mika and Kara fell asleep, their heads resting on the horse's side. Kisa sat at the side of the entrance. Her head resting against a broken pillar.

"Kisa?" Asked a familar voice.

"Who's there!" Kisa demanded jerking up into a defensive position.

"It's just me," said the boy from earlyer today.

"Oh Marik its just you."

Kisa let her arms down in relief, then ran to him giving him a hug.

"What brings you here? How did you find me?" She asked

Marik chuckled. "You forgot about my sister, and her millenioum necklace haven't you?"

Kisa blushed. She appologized then offered him to inside, out of the cold. marik refused. He pulled out a long white rectangular box.

"We wanted to give it to you Kisara," he smiled.

"Thank you, and i told you my name is Kisa not Kisara," Kisa said protesting the name for what she thought the thousandth time. She opened the box letting out a gasp of surpprise as she pulled out a white silk preistess dress.

"Wear it with pride Kisa, all your family members were preists or preistess. Now its your turn," Marik said chramingly.

Kisa's eyes teared up. "Thank you, my closest and only friend," she hugged Marik tightly.

"Kisa , i'm gald that you didn't come with me to Battle city, i couldn't bear to lose you," he whispered hugging her back.

"I wouldn't stay nothing would ever make me leave my best friend," she assured.

Marik smiled wryly but her knew that she would. he met a man there, named Seto Kaiba, and he knew that Seto and Kisara was ment to be together. Even if it took thousands apon thousands of years. They'll find a way to be together. He did all he could to keep Kisa away from Kaiba.

"Sis! Sis! Its Kara! She wont wake up!" Screamed Mika panicked.

"What!" Marik and Kisa yelled in unison as they ran into the temple.

There lay Kara. Mika tried to wake her but failed. Marik tried as well hoping that she was a heavy sleeper, but he knew she wasn't. She was pale and had a high fever. Kisa checked her pulse, it was faint. She looked above her sister's head. There she saw the faint shadow of Kara's spirit.

"She needs a doctor," Kisa murmured.

"We don't have any money," Mika reminded

"Then i'll steal some."

Marik was silent. Will he tell her what she needs to know to save her sisters life, or allow Kara to die so that he could keep his preistess home?

"The owner of Kaiba corp. is in the city north of here, if you go now you can steal whatever money you need for Kara, i'm sure he won't miss it," Marik said boldly.

Kisa hugged him. "Thank you Marik, i'll be back stay with my siblings."

"Maybe i should go instead...you know how to keep Kara alive more than me," Marik argued.

"And i'm also a better theif, if you go it might take days for the money to get here, even with my magic she wouldn't last that long, that is why i must go."

Marik tried again to pursuade her to let him go in her place, but when Kisa make up her mind its pointless to try to change it.

"No is no Maric, even if you know Kaiba that doesn't mean hes going to give you the money, rich pampered kids like him don't care for street rats like us," she said coldly as she took the silk dress and the reins to her horse, and left.

Kisa rode off to the city where Marik told her Kaiba was supposed to stay. She left the horse on the hill, hidden from bandets. She quickly changed out of the rags she was wearing, and put on the silk dress. she consentrated on calling forth her energy to summon her ka. Suddenly a red light burst out of her chest. The light fadded and in its place was red eyes black chick.

"Come, we have my sister to save," she smiled as she made her way down.

Kisa dodged every police officer, and unwanted eyes. then headed for a fancy hotel she was more than positive her victim was staying. the building was surrounded by guards and it looked impossible to get in. but thats the kind of Excitement Kisa enjoyed. Outsmarting a bunch of well trained guards.

"This wil be easier than robing tombs," she laughed then ran down, red eyes black chick following her.

i am only half of kisara so would this be something she wouldn't originaly do?

chapter 2: the darkness within.

Maric stared down at Mika, who had a suspicious look in his eyes, even his usual quick smiles was off. Maric sat down in the dirt covered floor and dusted his hands off.

"Something bothering you Maric?" Mika hard to sound like an adult.

"No, but something is for you," Maric replied. he patted the floor next to him. "Sit."

Mika did as he was told. He sat down pulling his knees to his dirty round face. Maric noticed the boy's condition. He had no shoes, thus making his small feet dirty and probably blistered from all the walking he does. He looked like he hadn't had a bath in a few months. His hair was black and messy. But the child looked well fed. His face was plump and would have a healthy gleam in it once he was bathed. Mika began to cry into his knees, pulling them closer to his body.

"Mika whats wrong? you can tell me," Maric said shocked by the boy's sudden tear-flow. He pulled Mika into his arms and tried to calm him.

"It's all my fault!" He cried.

"No its not Mika, tell me what happened!"

Mika looked at Maric then at his hands. "I told her that sis told us not to go deep into the temple, but she wanted to go in anyways, i followed her." He stopped suddenly covering his face with his hands.

"What happened Mika, what happened back there?" Maric demanded standing up.

Mika looked up at him again then pointed to a shadow dancing on the walls, lit by torch light.

"A shadow? she was scared into unconsciousness?"

"No, she was reading forbidden text then she fell to the ground. I picked her up and carried her all the way here so that sis wouldn't know, don't tell her!" Mika begged.

"If I don't, Kara might lose her ba to that 'shadow'," Maric replied knowing instantly what Mika meant.

Mika ran to his sister, shaking her again. Maric stopped him. He picked Kara up, and looked down at Mika.

"Come on lets go find Kaiba," he said.

The two ran outside to see a young lady with long black hair, and blue eyes. She wore all white, with a few gold items.

"Ishizu! What are you doing here?" Maric asked.

"I wanted to help Kisa, why are you here?"

"Never mind that, help me get Kara to Kaiba!" Maric barked.

Ishizu took a quick glance at the child in her brother's arms, and nodded her head. She had with her own horse, and behind her was Mika. Maric was on his and he held Kara close to his chest with his right arm and took hold of the reigns in his left.

"Lets hurry, knowing Kisa she is probably ready to rob someone, meaning Kaiba!" Maric said kicking his horse into a gallop.

Ishizu followed happened here? whats wrong with Kara? she asked herself

chapter 3: the deal

entering the hotel was easier then Kisa had thought. the guards were numb to her presence and easy to pass.the maid was also easy to scare, she didn't even scream. Kisa took the key card from the unconscious woman and propped her against the wall of a side hallway.
"I'm sorry for this but its important for my sister," Kisa said making a quick bow before running-off towards the elevator.
"top floor, that's what the guards said, right red-eyes?" she asked.
yes it is Kisa, are you sure about this? you barley have enough energy to stand red-eyes responded concerned.
"yes, if i don't I'll lose my only sister, i cant have that happen, she means more the world to me."
when the doors of the elevator opened, she bolted out ready to bust open every door on the top floor. however to her luck there were only three. she placed her head next to one of them hearing light snoring. she hoped that it was Kaiba's.
"hold it right there!" ordered a small child's voice.
Kisa turned around to see a small boy with long black hair and blue eyes. he wore a long sleeve shirt with blue jeans. two large men were besides him.
"look kid i don't want any fights i just need to get something important and I'll leave," Kisa smiled warmly at the boy trying to lose his attention.
"i don't believe you, only special guests come up here, you look more like a thief to me!"
"shoot you saw right through me," Kisa sighed she smiled as she moved to the side to expose red-eyes.
the boy just laughed, he wasn't scared at all. "whats this a silly little hologram my big brother made? did you really think that that would scare me, its not even a scary monster!" the boy demanded for the guards to seize Kisa. she couldn't have that happen.
"i don't think so," she smiled as red-eyes knocked one guy down with a body-slam. Kisa tied to punch the other out but felt a sudden pain in her heart. with a cry of pain she fell to her knees clutching her chest, gasping for air. red-eyes abandoned his victim to aid his master. i told you he said.
"whats all this noise!?" demanded a cranky man from behind.
"big brother!"
Kisa couldn't hold up much longer, she looked behind her to catch a glimps of the owner of the voice then passed out.

when kisa woke up she noticed that she was wrapped up in a light blue blanket. large pillows with dragon print lay underneath her head. she sighed then tried to get up. her body stiffened in pain.
"thank you for not reporting her, we'll take her home now," said a soft stern voice.
"hmph, and what makes you think i'll just hand her over," replied the voice from earlier, he now sounded more annoyed then cranky.
"what!? she didn't hurt you or rob you! why keep her," demanded a voice that she knew all too well.
marik and ishizu had arrived to save her. kisa rolled her eyes. as she forced herself up.
"what of it?" was the mans reply. "she attempted and thats all that matters."
"you don't deserve her," marik said, too loud to be a whisper but too quiet to be anything else.
"what was that?"
"you don't deserve her! she nice and thoughtful she would give her life for anyone of us if we were in danger! she always smiles even if things are worse then before, you don't deserve a woman how can put smiles on peoples faces, or starves herself so that others can eat!" marik yelled furious.
"and why would i want a thief anyways?" the man asked.
"really kaiba? you dont know?" ishizu asked. she paused for a moment. "how could you forget, shes the girl you saw laying in your arms dead."
kaiba laughed at her words, as kisa stumbled into the room.
"you expect me to believe that crap!" he laughed. "this girl a reincarnate of the one i saw in that false vision!"
"you shouldn't be here," kisa managed to say before falling to the ground. marik rushed to her side.
"kisa you shouldn't be up," he said softly helping her up.
kaiba looked at her and couldn't help but admit that she did resemble the girl he saw a few months ago in ancient Egypt. he wondered if what the ishtars were saying, he quickly pushed the thought aside.
"tell you what i'll make you a deal, i'll take care of that little girl over there," he started pointing at kana who lay on the couch. "and i wont send this girl to jail,"
"whats the catch?" marik asked with a glare.
"she has to come back to domino city and work for me until she could pay off the debt," kaiba finished.
"deni..."
"i accept!" kisa interrupted.
"what?! why?" marik asked looking down at her hurt.
"marik he's going to take care of my sister, i cant lose this opportunity, she needs the medical attention," kisa responded laying a gentle hand on marik's face.
"be ready to leave first thing in the morning," kaiba ordered as he left the others.
"i told you so," ishizu beamed receiving a quick glare from her brother.

Ishizu and Marik helped Kisa pack and get everything ready for her leave. Marik and Mika were the saddest of the group. Mika didn't want to leave the only home he knew, and Marik didn't want to see Kisa go.Kara was taken to domino city by jet, with Kaiba's little brother. Kisa set a few things up though, and to everyone's surprise, Kaiba allowed it. The first was that she had to have her brother come with her, the second was that she had to bring her horse with her, and the last thing Kisa wanted, was to have her last name be Ishtar, of course with Marik's and Ishizu's approval. which of course they agreed.
They stood at the airport saying their last goodbyes. Kaiba stood apart from the small group waiting for them to finish.
"Kisa promise me that you'll keep in touch," Ishizu smiled warmly.
"of course Ishizu, i wouldn't want to keep you guys at a distance," she said jokingly giving Ishizu a hug.
Marik rubbed his left arm and looked down at the asphalt. "Kisa this might be the last time i see you," he said looking into her eyes.
she shook her head.
"so i wanted to tell you this before its too late," he continued ignoring her gester. he walked to her and pulled her into a kiss. a kiss that shocked everyone. and i mean everyone. "i love you," he whispered into her ear, then hugged her like his life depended on it.
kaiba didn't show his shock outwardly like the others did, but ishizu knew that the young man was probably furious. kaiba looked at his watch as an excuse. "are you dorks done with your sob farewells, we have a plain to catch," he said irritated.
marik didn't let go he stared at kaiba. "don't you own the plain, cant you tell it to wait?" he asked.
"no Marik, he's right, i have to go my sister is waiting for me," Kisa smiled as she stared up into Marik's eyes. he bent down a little to kiss her one last time. Kisa closed her eyes and took in marik's kiss knowing in her heart that she might never see him again.
Kaiba as irritated as he was found a way to break them apart in the most rudest snobbiest way possible for a Kaiba. Kisa left Marik and waved goodbye as she took her brothers hand and followed Kaiba into his plain.
