How many people have seen this movie?
Can you please explain it to me in detail. I already know whats going on and who is the people. I've even played the game quite thoroughly. The only problem is, my copy of Advent Children I got from my friend who happens to speak the language (Japanese i think). There are no subtitles. I'm left guessing at most of whats going on. I read the script and have a fairly good idea but i would like someone to give me a quick rundown so i can explain it to my brother as well

I have it on Japanese DVD. I could understand most of it from reading Japanese mangas and animes, but not enough to give up a general overview.

Well, if you didn't fully understand Final Fantasy VII then you won't quite understand Advent Children. Remember, Advent Children takes place 20 years after Final Fantasy VII.

No, Advent Children takes palce 20 years after. Ask anyone who full understands the movie. Also the reason why Kadaj knows about JENOVA and the Reunion is because he is an incomplete Sephiroth clone like Cloud. But Kadaj has realized that he has JENOVA cells inside him, whereas Cloud though he was Zack before he and Tifa entered the Lifestream. And Zack isn't a Sephiroth clone, he was superior to the cells in his body that's why he was a First Rank SOLDIER. Cloud hasn't become Sephiroth because he's an incomplete clone. He is immune to the JENOVA cells and is stronger than Sephiroth. yes Tseung is dead. he dies right after he leaves the Temple of the Ancients he is killed by Sephiroth. But Elena is still alive she along with the rest of the Turks escaped after Cloud goes to confront Professor Hojo and the Sister Ray right before the end of Disc 2.

Nah Zack was Aerith's first and only boyfriend. He was the one that was the one that confronted Sephirith first when Sephiroth opened the door to JENOVA at the Mt. Nibel Reactor. You know the story Cloud tells in Kalm (first town when you finally leave Midgar), well the story he tells is what he saw and was about what happened to Zack not what happened to him. After Sephiroth kills Zack Cloud comes in with the Buster Sword and stabs Sephiroth as he leaves with JENOVA's head. Then he finally meets Sephiroth at the entrance of the reactor where Sephiroth impales Cloud but Cloud lifts Sephiroth up into the air adn tosses him into the Lifestream, where he would stay until he was reawakened by the b.l.a.c.k.m.a.t.e.r.i.a that JENOVA forces Cloud to give to her son. Then at the final battle Cloud defeats Sephiroth but fails to kill him. Which is where Adventy Children takes over, only 20 years into the future after METEOR was summoned and almost anhiliated Midgar.
