Replace * with whatever smiley it is. :] A few have different names (since you can't use symbols in file names). They are:
biggrin = D.gif
smile = smile.gif
sad = sad.gif
surprised = o.gif
confused = hmm.gif

exclaim = exclamtion.gif
question = question.gif
neutral = I.gif
The facelss pineapple is blank.gif. Also there are two ninjas, the one with black leaves is ninja2.gif.
