The trailer looks promising, I'll watch it when it's out. I still hope for some Yori appearance, because she didn't appear in Tron Legacy.

OH I remember now!
I watched it in that 1911 version youtube was having a couple of days ago.
I accidentally kept that going when I watched it. xd
I may have laughed harder at the contradiction than it actually deserved.

It's Disney, it wouldn't surprise me for them not to come out with anymore news until they're done making the first episode. They like to tease us like that.

I seriously doubt they will shelve it. It did fairly well in theatres and its technically fresh in terms of room to play with despite how long Tron has been around... It really is TOO BIG an opportunity for them to pass up. It has a HUGE fanbase b/c of the cult status of the original, and the new movie brought in a BUNCH of new fans (myself included)... It has probably the greatest potential of all of Disney's IP's right now...
Besides, work on Tron 3 is already underway.... biggrin

I've got theory, that it's a demon........wait wrong guild. but anyway I have this theory that when at the end of Tron: Betrayal Tron runs off and what i think he does is find some program to take his place when he becomes Rinzler. I hope I'm right because that would be a pretty awesome show.

How would that work tho? Not like he knew he would be rectified. As it is, even Flynn thought Tron was dead.. But, as I said before, 1000+ years is a LONG timeframe to work with. And it's not impossible for Tron to take on an apprentice of sorts. Flynn obviously created Anon to take on Abraxas, why not have a few Tron apprentices or two before he's rectified. I'm just curious as to how many programs Flynn created to help him since he obviously made ALL the programs that exist within The Grid...

One should note that Betrayal's ending conflicts with the Legacy and Evolution. In the Betrayal epilogue, Flynn was ambushed far outside the city and apparently driven into hiding. Tron was wounded, but managed to escape.
But in Evolution and Legacy, Clu asked if he was still to create the perfect system and attacked Flynn and Tron in the street. Quorra and Anon witnessed it. Flynn got away because Tron covered him and stayed to fight. That's the last we see or hear of Tron until we see Rinzler in the games.
But I would guess Tron escaped that fight like he did in the epilogue of the Betrayal, so the difference wouldn't be that big.
What's important is that Tron would likely be Clu's #1 enemy. In Uprising, I imagine we'll see Tron on the lamb, running from Clu's forces, trying to train a successor because he believes his days are numbered. And from the trailer, it looks like the new guy wears Tron symbol. Perhaps assuming his identity?
