Character Name: Sulouch Drarouge
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Sulouch is quite slender and slightly athletic in build. Due to a growing emphasis on mental activities rather than physical activities when he entered his twenties, his athletic form faded slightly and he settled into a slightly more frail frame. He sports a head full of short yet thick midnight blue hair. Due to his nature, Sulouch often has a serious and somewhat sad expression painted upon his face. He often imprisons himself within his own mind, thinking about the world from the role of an observer rather than a participator. It isn't true sadness that marks his face, he merely gets too caught up in his thoughts to remember to shift his expression to fit the given situation.
Personality: This Trainer witnessed many unspeakable acts within the Viridian City Gym. He was never officially a member of the criminal organization that used the gym as a front, but Sulouch witnessed acts that shaped his personality and overall outlook on life. After the gym was temporarily shut down, he received an invitation to venture to the nation of Tohoku, where he hoped to forge a new life for himself. Unfortunately, Sulouch's past would continually haunt him, making this new beginning a difficult task. After hearing rumors of the Viridian Gym Leader ordering the execution of some odd experiments on a new species of Pokemon, Sulouch began to experience an unusual period of mental growth. He began to hear whispers within his mind and started to suspect that his proximity to the experiments performed in the Viridian Gym had unlocked some sort of mental capacity that had been previously out of Sulouch's reach. The young man decided to keep these discoveries as well as his past to himself. In his heart, the Trainer knew that he should have done something to hinder the experiments that had taken place in his former gym. While he didn't perform or even witness them personally, nearly every member of the gym was aware that innocent Pokemon were being harmed in order to satisfy the Gym Leader's ambitions. On his way to Tohoku, Sulouch vowed to himself that he would someday hone his strange mental abilities as well as become a powerful Pokemon Ranger so that he could personally bring his former superior to justice.
