I'm sure by now everyone has heard about the recent massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan. You've probably also seen Gaia's announcement that if you buy a charity item from the cash store, Gaia will donate the proceeds from that item to the Red Cross. A lot of people want to help Japan, but don't have much money they can spare to donate. So I had an interesting thought:
Gaia has been giving away free gaia cash if you complete special offers, like watching videos. If we earn enough gaia cash from watching videos or from other free offers, then spend it on the new charity items, wouldn't it still count toward the relief effort?

You can also donate in other ways such as donating to the Red Cross.
Quote: How to donate to Red Cross? 1 - Go to RedCross.org
2 - Click on "Japan Earthquak and Pacific Tsunami"
3 - Select "Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami"
4 - Fill in the required feilds
You can also..
1 - Donate to Red Cross efforts at 1-800-733-2767
2 - Text REDCROSS to 90999, for a $10 donation. For people fundraising in schools and other options..
1 - Click Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami
2 - On the "Donate funds" page, there is a small gray box to the side, click on the red text that reads "Other Ways to Give"
3 - This will bring up multiple alternative options, find yours, for example "Mail" will have you fill out a small form which you print out.
You can also choose to Volunteer, Give Blood, Make a difference , and Become and Employee to the side, these also have different options and different ways to help.

Yeah, like CabbageTheif said, I'm just pointing out an option for people who can't afford to donate to the cause otherwise. Still, thank you for the link, Renkon. It's good to know how to donate directly to the source, for those who do have the money and don't feel like dicking around with Gaia's cash system, haha.
Also I bought some support bracelets from Lady Gaga's website, which are $5 each. (Of course I know not everyone likes Lady Gaga, but for people who do, maybe you'd want to buy one. Either way, all of the profits from them go to the relief fund).
