Ok, so I hate shopping so I don't do it often. But I need a new bra. The bras I have have underwire and stab me and the one I have that doesn't have an underwire isn't very attractive nor does it boost my boobs up like I want it to.

1. Do you have a suggestion for what I can do to stop the bras I have from stabbing me (the underwire has poked out of the fabric on the inside so I constantly have to shift it back in place)?
2. Can you suggest a bra that will give me lift/cleavage that doesn't have an underwire?

Also, how long do you usually keep your bras?

Hmmmm that is a tuffy.
See I have small boobs gonk lmao so I don't need much support so I really have no advice for that sorry sad
But as far as the under wire goes, I hate that s**t scream
Personally I've come to the conclusion that they happens when I was my bra's in the washer and dry them in the dryer. I now Hand was them and air dry them and don't have that problem any more.
But yeah before I started hand washing my bras I would keep them for like a year or so pokey wire and all. I would just put band-aids where the wire was poking me rofl ghetto
Now I've had some for almost 2 years lol

The only times I found the underwire of my bra poking me when I got a wrong size bra. Or after many uses, and many machine washes. I found bras which had this problem after 3 months, and some of my bras which I have for 1.5 year are still fine. I found some brands do this sooner. I'm too lazy to hand wash my bras, and I doubt those washing bags.
Anyways, maybe your bras are just old, or you got the wrong size.

Where is it poking you?

And a lot of it has to do with how large you bust is and just preference, so the best you can do is buy lots of different kinds until you find a brand/shape that fits.

I keep my bras as long as I can because it's really hard to find ones in my size, and even then, ones that fit right. I've been considering paying like $100 each on customs because I'd rather have one perfect one then spend $100 on four that don't fit right. =[

They poke me towards the armpit. The fabric has broken there allowing the wire to slide out toward my armpit. To be honest, I'm not real sure what size I wear. I know it's 36-38, and I usually get B, but I got sized once and the lady said I was a large C, almost a D and I think that's bull.

I would suggest getting measured again. Bring a friend of your mother with you when bra shopping. People often don't see how it fits on the back. I've seen many girls in PE wearing too big bras, with very tight straps, so the back would go up like three inches so it actually was tight gonk
It could be that you actually wear the wrong size, without noticing it. I used to wear a 34A or B all the time, while I actually was a 32C. This made my bras uncomfortable, and break very soon gonk

Where did you get measured last time? Some stores are known to be off with their measurements.

You could repair the bras you have by covering it with fabric, but I'd just go to a store and get new bras. Unless the size is very odd, which yours isn't.
The place your wire pokes makes it seem like it didn't get broken from laundry machines which pull the bra fabric in the wrong direction and so ripping it. It seems more like it broke from friction with your skin.

Hand wash and hang dry your bras. That stops the underwire from popping out. It's very difficult and exspensive to buy new bras all the time because my chest is so large. So when the underwire does start popping out I get a thick sewing needles and sew the hole shut.

I keep my bras as long as possible. I usually throw them out when they get real ratty or break. My bras tend to rip in half right between the breasts. But thats usually after a lot of wear. I even keep bras that are too small still. Somedays I wear them when there is absolutly nothing else. Plus my tits just won't stop growing. In highschool everytime i bought new bras my boobs would grow more within a couple months. So id wear the smaller ones just because i didn't want to waste them.

I can't tell you anything about bras that don't have underwire. I'm a 40DD so I always have to wear bras with underwire.
