The old tower ruins are a place full of magic and adventure. Many creatures skilled in the use of magic enjoy coming here to experience the aura of true, powerful magic. After dark the ruins can be dangerous, and thus are off limits after daylight hours.

Melody continued to walk toward the ruins, watching the aura of the strange tower, but getting nothing. She was starting to see the colors of the other towers. She stopped in front of the old door, running her fingers over the cold copper carvings that covered the door. "Ready? Some people don't like it down there because it's kind of dark, but it is really cool." she said, turning back to Durante.

Melody smiled and walked into the underground ruins. She brushed away a couple of spiderwebs that had gathered since her last visit. She looked around. "Nice, huh?" They were standing on a ledge, high above the rest of the ruins. A couple paces in front of them was a crumbly set of rock ledges that formed a mangled staircase down. She grabbed for a torch from her first hiding spot, but seemed to change her mind. I like the dark better anyway, and I know this place by heart she thought. "Come on. The best place is further down."

Melody turned toward the stairs and started down. "Careful, these stairs are a little... Hazardous." She said as a rock crumbled under footing, and she stepped over the new hole. They continued down the long stairs. About halfway down, Melody tried to overstep a gap, but missed the step and lost her balance, falling off the edge.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her back up,"Careful now."He said smiling.

Melody smiled, her blush coming back. "Thanks." she said, and they continued down the stairs, then she led the way to 'her room'.

Melody smiled back at him. She walked over to a small bed she'd dragged into the ruin a while ago, sitting on it. "I spend nights here when I want to be alone. It's not luxurious, but it's comfy, and it feels like home." she said.

Melody smiled. "I think it is." she joked, laughing lightly. She fell back on the bed and looked at the strange bronze ceiling. She tried to read the symbols and runes, but couldn't even identify the language. "Do you ever wonder what would have happened?" she asked, still staring up, but no longer seeing what was above her.
