The ash caves, mistakingly taken as a dark and evil place, is actually given it's name from the strange ash grey color of it's dirt and rocks. It connects directly to the off campus tower ruins through a hidden tunnel in the deepest part of the caves.

Melody carefully walked into the caves, still holding Durante's hand. She motioned to the sky, where the sunset had created a beautiful spectacle of color and light. "Pretty, isn't it?" She asked him.

Melody smiled at Durante. "Come on, there's a hidden cave in back that leads to the Ruins off campus. They're gorgeous after dark. It'll be fun." she said, gently pulling Durante farther into the cave.

Melody gently pulled Durante into the back of the cave. It was dark, and only little light got through, so she couldn't see much yet. "Can you see anything? I have to wait a while before my eyes adjust." she said, letting go of Durante and trying to find the secret passage off of memory.

Melody smiled, stopping. She could sense that she hadn't walked far from Durante, he was still behind her. "What do you see?" she asked, half serious, half teasing.

Melody let a small laugh escape her lips, then swirled around and grabbed Durante's wrist, and then pulled him through the passage to her right. "You're going to love the ruins. They are so much fun at night." she said, racing through the tunnel. She slammed to a halt when she came out of the tunnel, feeling the moonlight shine on her face.

Melody smiled, her eyes still closed. She took a deep breath before looking around. I can see the ruins from here, but I don't remember that tower. she thought. "Okay. There's an entrance to the old tunnels underneath the ruins over here." she said pointing to their left, near the tower she hadn't seen before. "Wanna go there? Nobody knows it's there, but it's really cool at night." she said, watching Durante. He's so much more handsome then I remember...

[Enter] Hardened paws crunched lightly across the dirt, mud-matted tails swishing silently behind two wolven figures. One of black and one of white, the eyes of these two watched warily as they entered ground previously unknown to them. The white-pelted one, assuming it was female due to a smaller size, soon seated on hind quarters as she rested from meandering for so long. Although they wouldn't like it or understand at first, this would be there new home...the place they so strenuously searched for.
