❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And Forever   Lola slightly frowned when he spoke of already having roommates. Darn. "Oh, alright." It didn't really seem like he was to fond of them. "Well, you come swing by my dorm at anytime." Lola said, her smile returning. "Me? Oh, I have one, but I think they just squeezed another as well. So that makes two." Lola didn't know he roommates, not even their names or their genders. The school needed to give out more information on their roommates. Who knows if you'd be bunking with a killer. You never know, people have good descuises nowadays.
Looking down at the view when they got plenty high enough, Lola's face filled with awe. It was so amazing up here. Now this is what you call a bird's eye view. It was beautiful. Lola smiled again at Von, "To the dorms, I suppose." Lola didn't really get a good look at her dorm, when she first arrived. She just walked inside and dumped her luggage on her bed, not really contemplating the area.
When they eventually got to the dormitory entrance, and got to the ground, Lola got off and waited for Von. She took out her card key, so she didn't have to find it when they got to the door. Lola walked at the same speed as Von. Afterall, she was wearing stilletos. Even though, she could run in them if needed. When she got to the dorm door eventually, she slid her card key in the slot, and a green light lit;symbolizing access. Walking inside, Lola placed her handbag on the counter, and looked up at Von. "And this is my dorm, please make yourself comfortable while I prepare the snack." Lola instructed, an alluring smile planted on her face.

One never had to be fond of their dormmates, they only had to tolerate them and try not to pick a fight. Which Von didn’t plan on doing and well, he’d done a decent job of keeping out of a scuffle so far. Though he wasn’t out to impress anyone and no one would keep him from doing what he wanted, when he wanted. It was still kind of nice to be hanging out with this girl. For some reason he didn’t feel so irked around her—probably because she was sort of a “kindred spirit” in a weird sense. “Heh, don’t start making offers like that.” he said with a chuckle. “I may end up sleeping on the couch in your dorm every night.” he could only shake his head a little. “I don’t quite care for how they shove people in dorms. I hope you have good roommates.”
“Mmkay.” to the dorms it was! Though he waited a moment for Lola to get a look at the view from up there. No telling when he (or if he) would give her another lift like this. It wasn’t an every day occurrence. “Off we go.” he said, giving that little warning before the board shot off towards the dorms, making quick work of their travels.
Once at the dorms, Von picked up his board and walked with Lola to her room. His pace wasn’t fast but it wasn’t exactly lollygagging either. “Wow.” the purple haired male let out a whistle as he looked at the place. “Fancy.” Now he was really curious as to where the school got the money for all this. Not that he’d complain about living in “luxury”. “Hm? Oh, all right. Holler if you need a hand.” he left his board by the door so it would, hopefully, be out of everyone’s way before he moved off to the living room to take a look around.
Shining brightly, even for a split second, is far better

❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And ForeverLola smiled brightly at Von, "I wouldn't mind it if you did. It'll be nice having you as company." she commented. She put on her apron and moved to the sink to wash her hands thouroghly. She looked over to him once more, "I hope so too." Lola said. When he spoke of how fancy the dorm was she smiled, "I know, it's nothing like home." Even though she was a famous actress and model, her parents always took her money leaving nothing for her. She wanted to move out--but of course she had no money to. She always dreamed of living in such luxury. Now she finally can!
She started to make the crepes, "Alrighty," she said, "Von, do you like strawberries with your crepes?" she asked as she started to heat up the milk for the hot chocoalate. Being an amazing cook she is, there is no question the snack will come out exquisite. No question. ❥Feels so good being bad

I believe you’re speaking a little too soon. Von thought absently. If he did crash here often, Lola may not like him as much as she seemed to now. Lola had, what felt like to him, taken a shine to Von and he didn’t mind it for a change. It wasn’t every day he was able to get off on the right foot with people so he didn’t want to screw this up. However due to certain things he tried to keep from his mind, Lola may come to hate him soon enough. “Heh, yeah. Nothing like where we both came from...most likely.”
School shouldn’t have been like anyone’s home when they got here. If everyone lived in such fancy homes, Von probably would be a little jealous. Then again orphanages growing up and then camping under the stars was quite different than the lavish rooms here at the academy. Von may just end up a little spoiled on it all until the nice weather came about, then he’d probably go camp outside just for “old times sake”. But back to the food!
Von had been so focused on V-Boarding and not letting anything happen to Lola that he had momentarily dismissed the idea of food. Sure he heard it but it never truly sank in and now that he thought about it, his mouth was watering. Sweets—especially crepes—were his favorite. Mm… “Strawberries are fine. I’ll eat just about any type of crepe and sweets. I’m not too picky when it comes to food. I’m sure whatever you make will be delicious.”

❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And ForeverLola was happy that not long after arriving she has made a friend. A nice one. A cute one. Haha. He's great. At least Lola doesn't not have to worry about being by herself for the year. That will be upsetting. Von was an awesome person. Period. Lola has never learned to hate, never. Dislike, maybe; hate, never.
"True, I wish life was a bit better back at home though."
Lola mixed up the hot chocolate and added some marshmellows. She brought the two muggs and set them on the coffee table in the living room. "Alright" Lola said, a happy smile planted on her face, "I sure hope so." she said. Walking back to the kitchen, Lola added her last bit of decorating to the crepes and brought it out on a glass plate, "Enjoy." she said while getting her own. ❥Feels so good being bad

Making friends was always a bonus but Von wasn’t sure how this would play out. He’d just have to wait and see, hoping for the best. “I think that’s how many people feel.” he commented as he sat on the couch, resisting the urge to put his feet up on the furniture. “I can’t imagine everyone had a nice family life but at least here, family doesn’t get in the way.”
He sat up a bit straighter when Lola brought in the hot chocolate followed by the scrumptious looking crepes. They looked amazing! And now Von had to resist being a pig and not eat them all, which he probably could accomplish quite easily. He used to eat crepes until he got sick and couldn’t even stomach any more. “Looks great. Thanks!” Von said as he got one for himself, cutting it and taking a bite so he didn’t make a huge mess. Of course the moment he put that bit of food in his mouth, his tastebuds could have died at the excellent taste. “Mm…” Von hunched his shoulders as he grinned, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. “They’re great!”

❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And ForeverLola nodded, "Exactly." she said. Family didn't get in the way, that's the plus coming to Northstar. And so far, she is so happy she came. Lola sat down next to Von, her face lit up when he complimented her on the crepes. "Thanks, that means a lot," Lola said with her usual radient smile. She took a bite of the crepes herself, it was like her tastebuds were having a dance party. It was amazing. Now she doesn't usually think this about her cooking, she's usually really critical, but this might just be the best crepes she has ever made. She looked back at Von, "Well, you definitely were not lying." she said laughing bit, "Tell me if you want another one." Lola took a sip of her creamy, marshmellow filled hot chocolate. Now that hit the spot. Hm, now thinking about it, will Lola make female friends as well as male? She hoped so, that would be great. She never really had female friends. She had 2 bestfriends that were girls but usually chilled with guys becuase they get her more. Maybe, this time will be different. Lola stirred the hot chocolate with a spoon, and placed it back down and took another bit of it, it was just sooo tasty. She was so glad she had someone to share it with. ❥Feels so good being bad

Family. What a bizarre topic since Von couldn’t even remember his own, not that he cared to. Things probably would have ended up the same anyway. “Hey, why would I lie?” he said after another bite. When it came to food, people, or anything really he didn’t lie. Lying was boring and not good for anyone. Even little “white lies” were rare coming from him. “I don’t make it a habit of lying.” he informed before focusing on the crepes. Eating them fast wasn’t polite but hey, she offered another to him so he couldn’t pass that up! Who knew when he’d get to have them again. So he better enjoy ‘em while they lasted.
“Don’t mind if I have another.” he said with a grin. “Crepes are my favorite.” Von said happily as he kicked back a bit this time with his second crepe, savoring this one since he felt he should limit himself to two rather than more. He didn’t need to act like the pig he was when it came to food. “So…” Now it was the small talk that Von just couldn’t do right. “You like cookin’, huh? You did an amazing job with the crepes. Is cooking a hobby of yours?”

❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And ForeverLola shrugged, "Gee, I actually don't know." There was no real reason for lying to her. It got people nowhere, it made her smile as he mentioned that he didn't really lie. She didn't like people who lied, she felt that she could not trust them.
"Sure thing, coming right up!"
Lola made her way to the kitchen speedily. She put a freshone into the pan, "They're my favorite, too." Lola said. It was true, Lola absolutely loved crepes. They were delicous. She loved them herself, of course she'd spread the love with making them for others. She brought out the finished crepe and handed it to him, "Enjoy." Lola said with a radiant smile on her face. She sat back down beside him, "I love cooking. It's my favorite pastime." Lola spoke, "Thanks, and I would consider it a hobby." She took a sip of her hot chocolate, "What are your hobbies?" she asked. There were all types of hobbies that she loved, cooking was just one of the many. ❥Feels so good being bad

“Eh, I suppose it happens.” Did he detect a hint of sarcasm with that? Oh well…he knew people lied. Everyone did it now and again and he didn’t think there was a single person on the face of the earth who hadn’t done it, or would refrain from doing it. Not everyone was truthful, blunt, or completely honest with everyone. It just didn’t seem remotely possible. The only thing he “lied” about was his erm…condition. Then again was that really lying when he just made up lame excuses? He supposed so. But that was the only thing he never was upfront about anyway.
“Thanks!” he told her when she came back with the crepe for him. Mm…freshly made crepes. Was it his birthday today or something? Sure as hell felt like it! He got to do some V-boarding, met a pretty girl, and is being served some delectable crepes. Almost too good to be true. Totally fantastic.
Von munched on the crepe, listening as Lola spoke of how cooking was her favorite pastime. Von knew if he could cook like this, screw eating school food or fast food ever again! He’d just do it himself! …and probably pack on the weight from it too. Bleck, bad idea. “Mine? Well…V-boarding mostly. Though I do enjoy simple things like stargazing and just sitting somewhere nice and quiet in nature. So…I guess those could be hobbies too. I mainly stick to V-boarding since I feel so free with it.” It made him feel like he didn’t have a care in the world. Besides, nature was more accepting of what he was than people.

❥ｌｏｌａ ｍａｌｌｏｙ Music Is My LifeAlways And ForeverLola nodded. It was rue, you can't be 100% truthful. But it was just very uncommon for her to tell lies. If you tell her a secret-she'd keep it to the grave. If she promises it- She'll never break it. You need opinion- she'll give you an honest one. Wanna know where she was? She'll tell you. She rarely, if at all, lied to her parents or her family. She never did anything to keep from them. It was just her. Her parents lied often. She could see through them liked they bathed in Windex. She always were out together-never together. She wondered what they were doing, but they never told her honestly. She started being left in the house alone at age nine. In which they'd be out to the next day. It was about time that she left.
Lola smiled brightly, "Your very welcome." she said. She always packed her lunches, always. She can imagine that this rich school would have excellent catering but still. She always preferred her's homemade. She had a different lunch everyday. One day a bacon cheese burger, another day crab, and another day pasta. You never know with her. Last year, at her old school, she used to make lunches for her friends, too. They had a mini feast at their lunch table. The had appetizers, the entree, and dessert. She even made and Angel Baked Flame Cake for her friend's birthday. But she made sure to balance her food eating with exercise to make sure she didn't put on extra pounds.
"Can I make you lunch sometime?"
She wanted him taste her other meals, not just crepes. She good at other things, too.
V-Boarding, huh? Well, she understood it can get your mind off of things. V-Boarding was cool and calming. That's one of the reasons she loved the idea of just being able to ride one. Stargazing? That's cool. Oooh, sitting in a quite place in nature. She loved doing that. Nature was beautiful; she loves to read under a nice big Oak. "That's interesting. Your a pretty cool guy, Von." Lola smiled again. The girl seemed to do that a lot. ❥Feels so good being bad

A family that lies and deceives. A person may as well not have a family at all at that rate. Though despite how he’d been treated for so long, Von always liked to entertain the idea of a family and what family life must be like. There were many outcomes for his thinking, some happy, while others took horrible twists. No matter though—they were just meaningless thoughts and thoughts that were never voiced couldn’t hurt others.
“Huh?” Von blinked, licking his lips and fingertips to make sure he didn’t miss a single bit of those wonderful crepes. Even the smallest bit going to waste was practically devastating. “Make me lunch?” Well…free food was always a nice thing but, what could he give her in return? It wasn’t like he could cook or anything in exchange. “I don’t mind—ImeanI’dloveitbut… but are you sure you want to do that?” If Lola made him lunch sometime, Von was sure he’d be in heaven. If she could make crepes so well, he could only imagine what other foods she could make. She’s practically spoiling him rotten with the mere idea!
A little smile curled his lips. She thought he was a cool guy? Wow…he’d never heard that before. It was kinda nice to be honest, though a part of him wondered if she was lying. No, she couldn’t be. Lola was a trustworthy gal and wouldn’t throw around compliments unless they were deserved. “Glad you think so. You’re pretty cool yourself.”

The girl sprinkled a bit of happiness and a pinch of love and each meal. Seriously. She's been cooking since she was eight, it's no mystery that she's so good at it now.
When she complimented Von, there was no way she was lying. He really is an awesome guy and she really is ecstatic that she met him. She really felt that if you don't have anything good to say-then don't say anything. She found that when you start talking about flaws. .that's when physical fights happen. That, and rumors. Rumors. God did she hate those. She learns more about herself then she ever knew before. Lola always believed that people that start rumors are cowards. Well, if you have something to say about them-say it to their face. Don't spread it around school, or make stuff up about them. You usually find that the people that travel in groups are the troublemakers.
Lola's lips turned up to a cute smile, "Thanks, Von." That small compliment meant a lot to her. She is never really complimented, ever. Unless it's the paparazzi. But they compliment any celeberty without quite meaning. But things are different now, and it's those differences that made all the difference. ❥Feels so good being bad

“I look forward to it then.” Von said as he offered a smile. It was nice to interact with other people like this. It had been so long, Von nearly forgot what it was like to have a nice, friendly conversation with someone else. Ah, today had started out rather crappy but it was picking right back up. How awesome! It was even better when Lola smiled that sweet little smile. Words couldn’t describe how happy that made him feel. It was astounding he could make someone smile like that. Sure to many that was just another smile and perhaps that’s all it was, but it seemed special to Von.
“No problem. Gotta speak the truth y’know?” he said easily, arms folding behind his head as he closed his eyes. Crepes finished and settling in his stomach, the taste of them was still dancing on his tongue and would certainly be doing a grand waltz in his dreams tonight. “Mm…” the purple haired male hummed a little. He was out of things to talk about—conversation was hard!
