Is Christian metal acceptable to God? Some metal isn't quite really hardcore like Skillet or Sacrecy but then you get to Hardcore metal such as As I Lay Dying and things like Folk metal bands like Holy Blood. The problem with Folk metal is it's dominated mainly by pagan bands (do NOT click on the Inis Mona link on the Holy Blood video) and hardcore does have many Satanic bands as well. There's even an entire genre of metal that's completely devoted to bashing the name of Christ (And another against it gladly). Is Christian metal accepted by God or does its origins make it bad by default.

You can't judge one band by its genre. If we did, no music would be acceptable. God doesn't care what the music sounds like. If he's willing to accept the worship from the tone deft 80 year old woman in the back of a church, he'll accept hardcore Christian metal. Judging a band by the genre would mean everything is out. There is an earthly side to all kinds of music. But as long as the praise is right, God couldn't care what it sounds like.

Fun fact--the old hymns that traditionalists sing were originally based off of bar songs. And I really like Christian/white metal smile

Yeah Christian Metal is, I listen to Attack Attack! and The Devil Wears Prada and they don't scream about the crap radio stuff, they glorify God no matter if you think it is demonic or not.
