Species' name: Intravenes. Also referred as Psychomorphs, a combination of "psychotropics" and "anthropomorph".

Type: Genic, term used for anthros who have been artificially created through gene splicing and synthetic DNA structures.

Appearance: Highly varies, but often is vividly colorful with neon hair, eyes, noses and internal flesh. Often spliced from docile animals, most common forms derive from rabbits and canines.

Bio: The first Intravene was believed to be created by a Dr. Howard Flats, an eccentric yet brilliant scientist ousted from the medical community due to his wildly unethical practices with live experimentation with sapients and gratuitous personal drug use. What was largely believed to be his last experiment before dying from a Hallex overdose in his home, police found what he called the "culmination of his life's work" in his suicide note living in the basement. Little is actually known of what happened to that first Intravene, but a few years later, a devastating hacker attack on a governmental server leaked Dr. Flats' design blueprints. Ten years later, Intravenes were an incredibly common sight, created with wild abandon by drug cartels and pervy millionaires alike. As many as thousands can be found in population centers, often living in poverty.

Intravenes' primary function is to naturally produce drugs from their bodies, often manifesting itself in their saliva. Compounded with their docile and affectionate nature, they often will try to open-mouth kiss people they're fond of. This is their primary vehicle of transferring narcotics into the recipient's system, producing it's intended effect in sheer minutes as it's absorbed through the recipient's mouth and directly into their bloodstream. The type of designer drug varies and depends on the individual Intravene, but the most common is Jet, a non-addictive yet incredible potent synthesized version of THC that produces an overwhelming mellow.

Unfortunately for Intravenes, they're unable to develop a resistance to the drugs in their system, and as a result, go through most of their life utterly stoned and unable to completely function by themselves in society. Intravenes are often rounded up and assigned to caretakers employed by the state. Once a carefully regulated system, the state has become so heavily inundated with Intravenes that they only do basic background checks on caretakers before releasing Intravenes into their custody.

Personality: Incredibly friendly and affectionate. Absent-minded and often eccentric, their high severely affects their reasoning abilities, with even the worst ideas coming off as ingenious to them. Often physically clingy and flirty with people they know. They also have a difficult time understanding the personal boundaries of others.

Abilities: Strictly non-combative. Stressful situations can trigger a "bad trip" in Intravenes. An open-mouth kiss transfers a full dosage into a recipient, the drug having effect in a matter of seconds to minutes, depending on the recipient's constitution.
