Alright, With the release drawing closer and closer, we have yet to know what the actual name for Action is. So, providing reasoning, what do you think is going to be the name of the set? Me personally, I think it's going to be New Phyrexia. We already have a mirrodin pure: its called the Mirrodin block. Also, there is no way Mirrodin can be considered pure anymore because of the effect of the war. So what do you think guild?

Its probubly new pherexia, just because if you look at the set and if you keep up with the books. it starts off in mirrodin (scars of mirrodin which was like 70% mirrodin cards and 30% pher cards), then in the middle it goes 50/50 with mirrodin besige (as the walkers from the story are traveling deeper and deeper into mirrodins "core"). so the next set SHOULD be 70% pherexian and 30% mirrodin or something like that. I doubt that the set will be 100% pherexian or 100% mirrodin.
I do think though, that they will not make a LOT of infect cards, there will probubly be some to keep it draft playable. but as for benefiting infect, outside of standard or casual infect seems unplayable and slow.
As for mirrodin Pure, it could be it, because all the new "life" was born ON mirrodin, it just wont be "mirrians" mirrodin. but the plane "mirrodin" in its true forn as of now? or something like that. But i it's just me pondering, i still think its gonna be new pher. I would like to see Pher be the bad guys again. They were much better than Ajani chasing Nico from plane to plane
I don't really know. I guess this has to do with the storyline(books)?
That said, Im not really into either party, but my boyfriend is obsessed with phyrexians.
Obsessed with phyrexians like how I'm obsessed with Eldrazi and Slivers.
It would be cool if they brought back more slivers through. smile
However, i plan to do the next sealed deck tourney at the local hobby shop so I'll post as soon as I get back on what it entails. razz

MIRRODIN!
I really hope that it dosnt go to New Pherxyia. Infect is fun, Sure, But I like the fact that its acutally hard to win, it makes the Job more intresting when you actually out speed a turbo infect deck

The Praetors are going to be printed. We know who won. If you notice the art for the new set, the Mirrians are always alone. They are the stragglers, the few who resisted capture either by strength, or by luck. There is one phyrexian art that comes to mind. Elesh Norn yah, the phyrexians got this one.
I knew from the moment it was spoiled that Phyrexia was on scars of Mirrodin I knew it could go only one way.

I have to say, that picture looks more like a celebration of an overthrown blade hold. At least if you have seen any pictures of the place from the Lore. Seeing as that was Mirrans last bastion...Fudge
I hope we can get cards in Phyrexian language. Those would be really really cool!

Yeah for Foreign cards are actually "readable" if you know the language. if it was printed in Phyrexian then it would be purely memorization. or Pattern.
I can see one or two promo cards in pherexian. but it would be like the incedent with the full art textless spells. Reason why wizards stopped those was because it was costly and it "caused confusion because some people didnt memorize the exact wording". (huge fan of full art spells too Dsmile it would be the same deal with pherexian cards, but no english name for the header.
