Blinking open her eyes, Sanuye gazed around the cavern. Despite the pitch darkness, she could easily see the details in th rocks and earth surrounding her. After releasing a yawn, the slim fox got to her paws and shook the dust and debree from her coat.
Walking to the exit of her den, Sanuye pondered what she'd do now that the night was approaching. The steady incline of the tunnels was familiar to the tri-colored vixen. Even when she came upon the other tunnels that appeared and wandered off were comforting in their familiarity.
Another yawn escaped from her maw as Sanuye approached the mouth of the cave. Unfurling her wings, she let the fading rays of the sun warm her them - despite the slight discomfort it gave her to be sitting in the bright sunset.
Tail swiping over the soft earth beneath her, Sanuye gazed at the area from her place halfway up the hill. Although her eyes were slitted against the sunlight - despite the golden orb being halfway below the horizon - the tri-colored vixen managed to take in the details of the lush vegetation and any movement amidst the breaks in the tree canopies and in the fields.
