A scary, slippery, slimy, smelly Nicktoon. Deep beneath a very stinky city garbage dump, a generation of promising young monsters is growing up. Ickis, Oblina and Krumm are students in an elite school for monsters where they learn the fine art of scaring the living daylights out of people, under the strict eye of their headmaster, The Gromble. You can see this grungy Nicktoon on Saturdays and Sundays, only on Nickelodeon.

Aaaaaaahhhhh, I was wondering when someone was going to start this thread. I loved Aaaahhhh, Real Monsters. Oblina was my favorite monster. And their headmaster was awesome, with the red high-heels on his six feet xd .

Oh...I remember that show. I liked, but it creeped my out at the same time.

Did anyone know that the girl who did the voice of the cane shaped monster, also did the voice of Chuckie in Rugrat?

I always liked Ickis.
He had the coolest name ever.

I watched em all until the very end. Then I started to slack a little. I remember the headmaster ranting on about how Ickis was good at looming, "your father was a loomer! Your father's father was a loomer! Your father's father's father was a loomer!" Gooood stuff.

One of my favs. I used to watch re-runs of this all the time. It made me actually somewhat afraid that there might be something in my closet and under my bed.

Aaah Real Monsters was definatly one of my favourite Nick shows ever. Ickis was just cute.
The episode I remember most was the one where they were bottling Krum's sweat and selling it as perfume.

I'm watching it right now, and Krum finally gets tired of having to hold his eyes, so he gets a prostetic head. It made me wonder, his eyes get lost so easily, not to mention roll around in filth (granted that's how all the monsters live). Some monster almost ate one of his eyes. Well man, can you imagine having to hold your eyes? Then when you fall asleep, making sure they are in a secure place?! Yes I'm looking too far into something like this, but I thought it was an original idea for a monster.
