Yeah, you heard me.
I met my first shiny pokemon today. Care to guess who it was? - A Onix...

I'm so bummed =__=; Onix is one of my least five favorite pokemon.

Mine was a Geodude.
Expensive HM slave away!

At least Steelix is pretty good.

Where do you get the Shiny Pokemon?

There isn't a specific place to get them. =>n<=
The shiny form of a pokémon can be found anywhere that pokémon can be found. Whether a pokémon is shiny or not is decided when it is first encountered or when it is first received as an egg.
Wild pokémon that are encountered and normal eggs always have a 1 in 8192 chance of being shiny. So there's just that small chance...people who encountered shinies in the wild hit the small chance. >u<
Although there is the Red Gyarados. That is always shiny. lol

You're lucky you at least have a shiny! Man, I'd kill for a shiny Murkrow. Or a shiny Sneasel. Whichever appears first.

The first shiny I ever saw was a Geodude in Diamond. I didn't have any pokeballs. crying

The second was a Murkrow in the same game, but I couldn't catch it. ._. I was grinding in Eterna Forest when it popped up.
My pokemon were to strong, I KOed it. crying crying crying

Guess I'll just start walking back and forth in some dark grass for a while.

You might be there a couple days :c
If you aren't driven insane or get bored

Believe me apparently breeding with the Masuda method (a Pokemon with a different nationality then yours) you have a 1 in 2048 chance of getting a shiny
I've been at it for days

I couldn't even imagine the other way

Shiny hunting (except RNG which seems like cheating to me even though it doesn't use an external device) is pretty much always an appeal to probability. Just because something could happen doesn't mean it will happen. rofl I've used Masuda's Method several times and never hatched a shiny...I've never hatched a shiny period. ;o; Does a pokémon that is shiny sparkle when it hatches from its egg?
