How This Works
I (Silver Wolf aka Blade) am looking for help with an irl project. Your challenge is to create a new planet (and maybe a new race) for my characters to explore. Each submission I can use will win 5000 gold.
Challenge will be open to submissions until I have as many as I need.
Rules
~All prizes are provided by Silver Wolf aka Blade & awarded at her discretion.
~Open to members & crew.
~Limit of 5 submissions per username.
~Planet submissions must be complete and follow the template(s) provided in the second post.
~Creation of a native race is optional.

Since I haven't really gotten to the world this planet takes place in, I'll let you borrow it. Eventually it gets sucked into a black hole and Triade is discovered to not really be a moon but yeah. Those extra details would just confuse you.

*Two – Terrans and Raldians*; *Terra: Sand drakes (giant man-eating worms/centipedes)*
*2* continents; *1* sub-continents; *1* oceans
*desert, islander (sand etc.)* terrain(s)
Mind/ability affecting properties: *N*
Further Description: In general, there are two continents, Terra and Raldia, upon which the species live respectively. Terra is the larger continent and is mostly a giant desert with some solid land and a frozen north pole (not always under ice), under which dwell borrowing sand drakes the people have somewhat tamed (but not really). They come into contact when the sand drakes breach the surface to feed, typically on sunlight (have developed a form of photosynthesis) but sometimes on humans. Raldia is an island nation to the south and tends to be more technologically aware while always under risk of tsunamis while Terra is more populated but live under a harsher and unstable environment. Raldia and Terra are currently at war over land. The sub-continent lies further south from Raldia and remains largely unexplored, thought to be entirely toxic.
*Terrans*
Typical Physical Description: *Tall and thin, in order to deflect heat. Tend to be darker skinned, with darker hair and eyes. Have a risk of being born albino, which is a death sentence in the sun unless born in an underground shelter of which there are many – but risk being collapsed by sand drakes. Tend to be more physically defined, larger muscles etc, than Raldians.*
Mature at: *15* Average Lifespan: *30ish and higher, though uncommon*
Racial Abilities: *Most Terrans tend to be strong fighters. They trade and work with iron and other metals. They are also highly efficient, flexible, long distance runners.*
Extrasensory Abilities: *Terrans who spend most of their lives underground have improved vision in the dark and weakened vision in the light.*
Further Description: In general, Terrans are a suspicious people. They run in clans and stay within that clan for most of their lives. Trade between clans is a sacred business but also the usual way conflicts start.
*Raldians*
Typical Physical Description: *Generally more compact than Terrans, of varying heights. Tend toward lighter colored hair and eyes. Less physically defined but more agile, dexterous, and sprightly. *
Mature at: *20* Average Lifespan: *50, often higher*
Racial Abilities: *Raldians tend to be expert mechanics. Though the Terrans trade in metal, Raldians are known to be the builders – robotics, weaponry, and other applications of technology. They are always under threat from the water and have developed the ability to read wave patterns. *
Extrasensory Abilities: *A Raldian is able to effect a sort of mental shielding to surround and protect a general area. Whether the ability is a result of technology, or evolution, the Raldians have long forgotten.*
Further Description: Raldians have taken to the sky, living in protected enclosures high above the island during cataclysmic events. They have not, however, been able to support these enclosures indefinitely, which is a large part of the reason they declared war on Terra.

I really like this. I just have a couple questions and you're good to go. 1. What does the '94' after days/year refer to? 2. Are there non-sentient animal/fish species? 3. Would anyone (ie. humans colonizing the planet) also develop telepathy?

Would anyone (ie. humans colonizing the planet) also develop telepathy? 1. this is the amount of day in a standard year there 2. yes like a tropical paradise only aquatic style 3. um ya do to the odd property influences of the suns and moons creating a unique enzyme in the water that nourishes and develops the part of the brain required for telepathy so after a while of drinking the water wither through the mouth or abortion through the skin telepathy can be achieved! man you know this contest is just what i need to get my imaginative gears rolling again thank you for starting this up thank you

Supinelu Hmm. I updated my post. It's rather large now that I look at it ninja But yeah, feel free to borrow. It's a very interesting world to me but I just haven't had the time to write it's story. The characters I'm working with on my project are explorers, so they're just out to see what there is to see. I do like this and I like the detail involved.

I like world building though I don't know how good I'm at it yet. World building takes time and practice. I've been working at it for 15+ years now.

Further Description: (if any)
Horteon (random name) Is a planet that is at war with flesh-eating owls and the only thing that can kill them is the poison tipped spears of the tree frogs which are incredibly hard to catch but have enough poison to kill 100 owls, therefore making 100 spears.
The war was started because the owls hatred for them, for killing so many of there friend owls. one peirce in the heart by an owl can kill the natalia instantly.

Typical Physical Description: *strong,skinny, with a lot of muscles,girls being the strongest, flowing red hair, red eyes with hypnotic glances which does not kill the owls, Burns fused into the skin from ''the great fire of malisia'' immortal creatures.*
Mature at: *immortal* Average Lifespan: *infinity unless killed by owls*
Racial Abilities: *make spears and can jump 100x than the actual human being*
Extrasensory Abilities: (if any) *hypnotic eyes*

Horrible, hating creatures that kill for sport.
