Ahh, where to begin on this game?

I actually started planning this game back around game 40. I had planned to run it for game 41, but life happened, and I felt unprepared.

So, when I thought I had a little time, I decided to play!

Then, life happened again, but it was too late.

I feel so bad about posting late every night. I kept getting busy and distracted, and it was inventory week at work. I hated working that late. I also admit that I've been struggling with some writer's block, and I thought that writing for the game would help break it. (No such luck.)

I was disappointed at so quickly losing two G-teams and a killer, but there's really no solution for it but to keep going forward. I didn't want to re-roll the Reaper's position, simply because it seemed unfair to the original holder. Belle didn't miss it out of any fault of her own, and it's mere coincidence that you guys always vote her out on day 2. Seriously, what the ********.

And of course, we've had a glorious return of senseless sheeping, which I've happily mocked. We barely have any discussion about the game any more. It's like we're going through the motions without purpose, and it's very frustrating. I guess that this experience was more stressful than enjoyable, and I don't know what I can do about it.

no not really

it's a thing called meta

anyway uh

we should get an irc channel

i have things to do and games to run and you should see what i do to see if it is a good idea

oooooooh or i could give you the logs of some games i've run

games which put gameplay above flavour

i still don't know why you guys have this obsession with flavour

i mean it's tradition but still

I'm sorry if you didn't like my flavor, Beruru.

Gameplay in this situation, of course, is dependent on the players.

I don't know what you mean by "flavour"

ANYWHOSE! Ezzy! I loved some of the random sheepings! MY FAVORITE was the one where I created the pattern, that was SO MUCH FUN! biggrin

And I agree with you about the game and no discussion! That is why in MY game I made so that the "norm" wouldn't help anyone. Because all the killer has to do to win a normal game, is stay out of the spotlight, and kill off people that would vote for them. That's why I had random things happen that affected peoples game play, they might have been upset, but like it or not, my game had A LOT more discussion than most others!

It is so frustrating watching things happen in the game, and watching people be stupid about stuff, and you not having the power to affect any of it!

I want to let you know I loved your updates, and you are a good GM! I didn't mind that the updates where a little late, it worked out well in the end. I work in a grocery store so we also had inventory and end of quarter stuff and know how unpredictable each week is, which is why I am hesitant to GM a game. From watching you GM this game I have learned a lot that I can use if I decide to try to GM on my own.

Thanks, LLP. I've found that the best way to manage a hectic, unpredictable schedule is to plan as far in advance as possible with the things you can control.

And don't base killings around the killed person's in-game profession. One can write a slightly more generic update and fill in the name later. It may have been an interesting parameter for me to push myself with, but it's not good when I'm on such a nutty schedule.

The fact that my DNR didn't do s**t the whole game was frustrating too

That was Kozmo, right? He was jailed in day 1 sweatdrop

Would have saved me a lot of stress to have known that, but I also probably would have been dead if any of my other clues were released. The rest were a lot more telling. The numbers thing just alluded to the fact that I don't have any numbers in my username.

But it was a fun game. I liked the whole death-related-to-occupation bit.

I wish I'd gotten to actually save someone. But no... Random killings are a pain to try and stop. Sorry I'm a fail G-Teamer. I wanted to cry when I read the update where Namuie and Equinoxious were revealed. I'M RIGHT HERE GUYS. I'M HEREEEE gonk

It's just a shame we won so quickly, as odd and paradoxal as that sounds.
