Broken glass and debris litter this once grand factory floor. In truth not even the bums who inhabit it know what it was used for in the past. A small group of them stand in the center around a fire barrel warming themselves and talking about, whatever it is bums talk about. In fact the only thing out of place about this scene would be the polished silver padlock fastening the solid steel doors on the floor shut. This was also covered by an overturned desk that hand been thrown out of the third story office.

~There was a bright flash outside the office as Charlamagne appeared. He walked to the desk in front of the door and pulled it aside, he drew his flamberge and cut through the lock with one mighty swing. He kicked the door in only to notice a bunch of hobos. Charlamagne sighed as he walked up to them and grabbed two by their throats and smashed the heads together, making one hell of a mess. One of the hobos made a run for it but Charlamagne was faster and shot him down with a barrage of icicles. The final hobo came from behind with a knife, he thrust towards the back of Charlamagne's chest, but the skeletal man ducked, picked up the hobo from his legs, and threw him into the fire.~
"That was hardly enjoyable..."
~He whispered quietly to himself as he sat in front of the elevator that led up to higher floors. He laid back and tried to get comfy. He pulled his small book from inside his tunic and examined it.~
"Still good as new, but the flesh binding is starting to rot."
~He opened it and began to read.~

( The door is on the factory floor. covered by a desk. Whats in it is not more hobo's. I created this place for part of a storyline. )

( And what are you supposed to find Ald? if you had asked before stepping in i would have gladly told you what is supposed to be down their. "Kicking in" a steel door on the floor would only create more of a hazard. as the door would open up and not down. The office being stated as on the third floor is not near the padlock which cant be seen from that point. As the lock is not special you could cut through it. But as i said... how are you supposed to proceed with this action without knowing what is there. )

The open door exposed a dark stairwell leading down into darkness about a hundred or so stairs. After the long stair there would be a mausoleum door made of marble. Engraved on it would be the symbol of the Stonetalon vampire clan. Inside the marble door would be an open room the walls filled with nooks containing the remains of thirty or so random vampires. The center was decorated with a pillar of Greek fashion. A carving of Atlas at the bottom held up the remainder of the pillar.

Bale came to rest on the roof of the building. As she waited for Gizelle she began to prepare herself for the worst. Taking her necklace off she wrapped it around her wrist. The necklace was her shifting weapon made into that form for easier keeping.

Gizelle landed next to Bale not moments later, her wings fading from sight as she landed. "Vampiric energy... There's a lot here..." She said softly, frowning lightly. She looked over at Bale, before looking over the edge of the roof at the broken in door. So... Someone really had broken in. "Shall we go then....?"

" What do you have for weapons?" If she didn't have any of her own Bale would have to get her some to work with later. Angels rarely came down without them however. She walked over to an access door on the roof walking into a rather small room. Waiting for Gizelle to follow she called the elevator. "These things are so slow."

Gizelle followed after Bale, her face relatively emotionless. "My holy sword, and some lightly holy magic... Most of it's healing, though it's always useful against the undead... do you think I'll need it though...?" Gizelle asked as she too waited for the elevator. Not a moment later, there was a light ding, and the door opened, letting them. Gizelle stepped aboard and waited for Bale.

Bale stepped in turning to the panel to shut the door behind them. As the door shut she pressed the button for the bottom floor. "You never know what we'll encounter, Invictus is a strange place. " In her own experience she had learned that if it existed it would find its way to this city, Somehow.

~Charlamagne continued down into the stairwell, he rubbed the hobo blood off his hands and onto his tunic and unsheathed his sword, it glowed and lit the way. Then he came upon a marble door with a symbol on it's face. He ran his hands across the surface, he then examined his palm for a moment, then looked up.~
"Vampires....."
~He grumbled to himself with hatred. But he had a plan, it was time to put aside his prejudice. He pushed the door in and continued exploring the inside.~
"Hello.....!?"
