Welcome to Downtown Invictus. You are on Main Street, where alot of chaos and disasters happen. Robberies, shootings, dealings and other law breaking crimes happens here so alot of Peace Keepers will be on the streets of Downtown Invictus keeping watch and keeping the peace for the citizians.

Downtown: North on Main Street  The air smelled of various things from around the city; bakery's, exsaust, crime all filled Page's nastrils. She made her way down the strip of downtown on main street. She peers through her sunglasses that also doubled as a communication device by screen but only Page can see whats on the screen from the inside of the lins. While walking she adjusts her belt and grins sly like. The wind was starting to pick up and it shifter her hair in the direction it was heading. Lifting her hand up steadily walking down the street going northbound she fixed her hair but it was no use. As day quickly became sunset, and from there the night will arrive soon. Her duties are about to get much more active from the activies this city does at nightfall. Her keys, stainless steal handcuffs,and other small metal objects hanging on her untility belt jangled as her hips swayed with her paced walking. Vehicles kept going by blarring and bumping their tunes she snarled, "Pesky kids with their annoying loud music..." she huffed and glared more as they kept passing, she felt the need to run after them although she knew she couldn't do much about it without her squad bike. But Page was walking because her motor bike is in the shop under repairs from her last speed chase as she flipped but fell off the bike got most the damage, she was thankful.

Azrael was hiding in a shady alcove where Page was passing. He wouldn't be able to be seen easily, but he heard the overly loud music. He was annoyed by it, and would probably do something about it. In fact, he thought that he would do something about it. He took a small device out of his pocket and pointed it at his target. He was feeling merciful today, however, and didn't destroy their vehicle and their lives for disturbing the peace. He pressed a button on the small device. The car continued for a moment before shorting out completely, the circuits frying and the car effectively died. He smirked at his accomplishment without killing anyone. A good read of Winnie the Pooh did that to someone. "I really shouldn't allow them to annoy me so." He stepped out in front of Page. "And neither should you." He nodded knowingly, then smiled.

Walking into the sunset nearly she had forgotten about the loud music that once just a moment ago was bumping and vibrating the grounds she walked on. She paused as she clicked the thought and looked around, she noticed that loud car comming to a slow but to a hault as it had died. At first Page smiles and was going to make a sarcastic comment allowed to herself, when the voice of the male that sulked in the near by alcove shadows played into her hearing. She twisted swiftly and held her left hand in the air about four to five inches away from her person. Her right hand had slid for the safty of her automatic laser gun. She smirkes but way behind her mind and thoughts she was questioning why, "Hault citizen!" She stood firmly showing no signs of fear or emotion. Her voice was only that of a strict female of ranking. She already had a scan on her eyewear lins to seek out who this person was. She glanced in the nifty small mirror that showed behind her, she couldn't help but laugh a little as she saw the male slam out of his car door and start kicking his expensive ride, yelling and throwing a fit. Though he was okay and if there was a passenger, they were fine also, she returned her attenion strictly back to the man who poped up to her, "You did not have the authority to that sir. I am afraid I am going to have to charge you." In these days charging was much like a ticket but it was attacted to their person's skin. Much like micro chips but it can track where, who, and how much you spend amoung other nifty things. She dispised the idea of being on watch twenty four hours seven of all days and nights. Though it was the written contract they were all bound to in order to make sure peace was kept from war wagings on the city, although most the time, it happens anyway. As the sunset was quickly fading, the lighting outside was getting dimmer, but not for long. At nine o clock sharp all the street lights and neon signs for clubs and bars and resturants blink on, thats when the heave of her Day begings. She huffed and teased the man, "Well well, seems your starting on the P.K.s a bit early tonight aren't we?" She had announced whom she was and that she was of some authority. She mused over his little trick once more, but kept a stern face, the wind blew her hair some more, but she ignored it as the wind was blowing in the favor of her direction.

Azrael chuckled at her. "Citizen? No authority? You must be a new rookie to not recognize me yet." He turned to her so that she could clearly see his badge. "You can call me commander." He touched his forelock in a nonformal salute. He tossed her the gadget that he had used moments before "And next time, don't leave the office without your own." It was his turn to make fun of her. "It's a rookie mistake, you'll learn. Or you won't and then you won't make it." He turned away from her and started to walk up the street after he made sure that she had had enough time to look at his badge.

She blushed but it was difficult to see in the differant colored lightings surrounding them. She bowed her head slightly and spoke to him as if he was her general in the military, "I apologise Commander! It was clearly my mistake, I acted on instincts, and had not expected you to be patroling this area. I won't make the same mistake twice Commander." She strightend her back then, looking at him in the eyes saulting him perfectly, her chest was out a bit more with the leather outfit she wore as her uniform. In Pages mind she frowned to Azrael as he turned and left so ubruptly. She wondered if she should go catch up with him, but before her final thought she was already jogging to catch up to him, "Commander Azrael!" She called out to him, and kept pace with him as they walked through the citizens that departed for them, "Mind if I walk my rounds with you....?" It was bold, but she does like some company every now and then. And since she wasn't at all attracted to males in that way, it was easy for her to converse with them in a manor they are most fit to.

Azrael had, by now, forgotten the man that was cursing profanely in the middle of the street over his unrepairable vehicle. Though his attention suddenly snapped back to him the moment he grabbed someone else off of the street to blame them for his damaged property. "I don't mind if you walk your round with me, but I usually walk my own rounds. You can follow me if you wish." With that he spun quickly, drew one of his side arms, and shot the man in the head for assault. His head exploded in a mess of brains, skull fragments, charred flesh, and gore. It splattered all over the man he had assaulted, and he wretched all over the dead man's remains.
Azrael holstered his sidearm after making the twisted scene that took place. The car's other passenger started screaming hysterically. He didn't mind it at all. He had caused worse before. "And don't let that kind of thing bother you. Ever. It will drive you mad if you do." He continued on his way, barely having even broken his stride. He was headed for somewhere else.

The blood curtling scream from the passenger, Page figured must have been the significant other. She felt sorry for the women, but glad she didn't have to put up with a bastered like him anymore. If a grown man makes an unnessasary scene in public over something so small, then his home life is normally worse. She was about to say something to her Commander, and raise her eyebrows to the thought, but she kept her mouth shut, and her face appeared stright. Page kept pace with her Commander, and says, "I won't Commander." She simply puts. The night breeze was picking up and her hair moved once more. She moved her glasses to the top of her head pulling back her hair some, she blinks her eyes to the contrast of the change, and then peers around at other citizens passing by.

Azrael nodded. "That's good." He was getting reports from another area of disturbances. They weren't natural, so Azrael would need to look into it. "Duty calls." With that, he took a turn down an alleyway, shooting someone along the way that had planned on jumping him. The body fell to the ground, a hole in his chest, blood spreading out from him. Azrael took a few turns and came out on a main road and headed towards the main trade center.

The radio popped on, ending the silence that had been a bit awkward. She listened in and was going to see if she should help him for back up just in case, but before she could open her mouth he was already down the alleyway and had taken a couple turns to get to the Mall, main trade center. She decided that she was going to go after him just in case something was a bit larger than anticipated. She took off in a sprint shifting into a jaguare keeping her clothes neatly tucked in a pack she carried with her as she ran.> Exit to Mall <
