Just no.
We (as in me and the rest of the crew within the guild i.e. captains and vice-captains) will decide who to promote and when based on activity and general roleplay skill (NOT GRAMMAR or post length). Basically if you're here all the time and grasp the basic ideas of roleplaying then you'll move up the ranks eventually.
For those of you who are more traditionally oriented or simply more dedicated to how things are done within the bleachverse we can probably string together a good old fashioned captain's competency test using one of the three methods described below:
1) Has achieved Bankai
--That is literally all there is to the test. If you can use bankai that's essentially instant captain status...which is why bankai is ordinarily reserved to captain level shinigami within our guild. If you've got the ideas for your bankai more or less set then bring it forward to your captain and we'll go from there.
2) Personal recommendation
--At least 6 captains must recommend you for the position of captain, and no less than 3 of the remaining 7 must approve. This is the 'official' practice of the Gotei Thirteen in-universe, but it's basically the system we use already. If most of us feel you're ready to move up then expect a promotion to come your way soon. We tend to be a lot less 'official' when we do it though, kinda like it doesn't HAVE to be 6 captains and it can be more like a "meh, yeah" instead of a 'personal recommendation'
3) Trial by combat
--This is the preferred method in the eleventh division where the challenger must kill the current captain in order to replace him/her, but is widely considered a barbaric and outdated practice outside the eleventh division.
While the fight does not necessarily have to be to the death, that's simply the way eleventh division works. Other divisions are welcome to use it as well--particularly if a hot-headed up-and-coming recruit wants to take on the captain for some reason or another--it's just that the rules are a little different when it comes to eleventh.
Captains, I should say that you are obliged to accept the challenge of your subordinates (whether they be your direct subordinates--i.e. from your squad--or from another squad). Simply refusing a challenge without reason would no doubt stain your honor, and we all know how important that is. As for those challengers who are from outside the thirteen divisions, you're free to deal with the matter as you see fit. I recommend extreme prejudice and immediate execution.

im not asking to be a captain...though i would like that.....im asking what i can do to become one? in the show there were test but i cant seem to find anything like that here. ill keep working hard. thanks for the help

It's solely promotion based. The people in charge (like me and Tempest (JK yeah right!! HAHAAHHAHAHA, TEMPEST!!! AS IF!), or someone else) will be watching--ever vigilant--and decide to promote you to captain or whatever. Right now you're sort of an "other" since you don't really have a formal position within the Gotei. Don't expect your character to become captain any time soon purely because of who he is. You kinda screwed yourself over in that sense....
Another example is Lizzy's friend Mystic (where the hell is she btw? >,>) she got promoted like straight outta the academy (Toshiro style), and Lizzy would be a captain too except her character is kind of a screw-up.

no, he dose have a point, and i knew it was not going to be soon. i just thought that there was a more formal way to go about this. the comment of screwing myself was a bit harsh, but i see your point. if there is a way to help become a captain i would like to know...otherwise thanks for all the intel

I'm just saying on the character creation front you did kinda screw yourself over. Ex-experiments usually don't become captain quickly...or ever....
As for a formal process? I guess if you got a formal seat you could challenge one of the captains and do it the old-fashioned way.
Also, Tempest called himself "new" biggrin
