t h e T O W E R embodies chaos, release and revelations. It is the act of letting go of old notions, old beliefs, outdated attitudes - whether you welcome it or not - to make room for change. The Tower is not gradual change but sudden upheaval. Almost like a slap in the face to jolt you awake. As a soldier, the Tower may be reluctant to part of the role of maintaining the status quo. He may be get a little too comfortable with his place in life, and then things change. When life makes him a little too sleepy, he will be put in situations where he must wake up and hear the music or be faced with bleaker circumstances. A stable life was not meant for The Tower. He might be a little paranoid, a little resistant to change, but when push comes to shove he knows how to accept what has appeared in his life.
t h e S U N embodies understanding, greatness, vitality, and confidence. The Sun is the charismatic soldier. A born leader. He has a great understanding of people and has the ability to bring out their hidden potential. He believes in himself and his confidence makes the timid into the bold. He has courage and vitality in spades. Like the Strength, he is didactic in how he nurtures those around him. Unlike the Strength, who nurtures in body, he nurtures in mind.
t h e T E M P E R A N C E embodies compromise, balance, health and teamwork. The Temperance is the soldier who, when all around her there is chaos, is the eye of the storm. She exudes calm. She is composed. She is comfort to those whose lives seem to always be in chaos (hinthint: Tower). The Temperance acts only in moderation in battle. Only the strikes necessary to win the battle are made. There is no indulgence of an adrenaline rush or emotional outburst. She takes only what she needs. A soldier of moderation, if you will. As such, she has the energies to keep her whole life in balance - body, mind and heart. First off. A review of the rules.
⇢⇢⇢ ⇢⇢⇢ When it is time for the CYOA to begin, I will begin in the CYOA subforum of the guild, a new thread with the first scenario and its choices. You will then create your own thread, with the first scenario and its choices as your OPENING POST. I and some assistants will then cycle through the threads and post the outcomes of your choice, whether it will make your start over or advance further into the adventure.
⇢⇢⇢ If the path you chose was correct/wrong, I or another will reply to you thread with the next part of the adventure and its choices. This will continue until you have reached one of the following:
The chance to go back one step and choose again.
A dead end and you must start over completely.
A discovery will mean that you have found a piece! You may choose to take your winnings and end your game or continue on in search of something else. The path will then be CLOSED NO MATTER WHAT YOU CHOOSE and turned into a dead end. The piece will be moved to another point of the CYOA for others to find.
