((Entering from "This beach sucks, man" XD))
As Delta One stalked away from the group, she found herself trying to think of a plan, but her thoughts were now broken and disjointed. All she wanted was to run across somebody new, somebody she hadn't yet had a chance to speak with, so she could just attack, so she could just kill.... without feeling guilty about it. she was 99 percent sure that nobody else in her group had what she was looking for, anyways. The only one who might, was Eta Seven...but she dismissed that thought right away. If she had the pendant, then she would have been hiding, not venturing out and wandering into a strange camp with people who may have just killed her on the spot! Should she wait and see if anybody was coming with her? Nah...if they were coming, they would catch up. If not, then she was destined to tread this new path alone.

(Entering from the same place.) Delta Eight had ran after Delta One. He didn't have a plan of his own, aside from remaining alive. He didn't think that he'd do so out in the forest, the chance of being jumped by someone hiding behind any tree was a huge possibility he didn't want to take.
"Hey! Wait up!" He called, hurrying toward the other, running and even giving a little skip as he hurried after the other. "You'll need me if you get in to a fight!" He called out loudly. "And I don't want to be alone, it's far more dangerous to be alone! I just better be able to trust you."

Eta VII followed close behind. "We'll need to all trust each other." She shrugged. "I haven't gotten your... well, I guess name isn't the right word. Designations, maybe? I'm Eta VII." She started to stick out her hand to shake, but it didn't really seem right at the moment, given Delta I's mood. "If it helps any, I've got a set of nunchucks... although I've been too worried about hurting myself to use them." And hopefully they'd accept her, give her a little safety in numbers. And she would help them if she could, as long as they'd let her.

Delta One slowed slightly as the other two caught up, a small feeling of satisfaction burning in her chest. Even if Delta Five and Delta Nine didn't join them at this point, she still wasn't alone. This might at least help her live a little longer. "Delta One, here" She nodded at Eta Seven, some of the previous anger and frustration in her voice gone, but not all of it. She was holding on to her rage. She was going to need it. "I have nun chucks too. Useless ******** things" She swore "Rather use my fists, anyways" She glanced over to Delta Eight. She had previously wondered if he still had any bandages, and now was as good of time as any to find out. She waited to hear his answer, but continued to talk as well. "Heres how I see it. 13 people are going to survive this ordeal, and there are only so many pendants. If we can even get ONE of the damn things, that would satisfy me. We know who has TWO of them, if he's even still alive...well, that remains to be seen. I did witness a Theta getting another pendant, back on the first day of this crap-fest. I think our best bet to start with, will be to take out people who are in singles, maybe even doubles. You with me?"

"Er, take out?" The determination Delta I was showing certainly helped Eta VII to follow her, but the idea of "taking out" people worried her. "We can certainly look for small groups, and I guess take anything they have..." Delta I was a bit scary, though, so she wasn't going to push it, right now at least. "And I've been thinking. What does it mean to 'own' a pendant? And besides, they'd said that if more than thirteen people are alive, everyone dies. But what about the people who have pendants?" She shrugged. "So the information we've gotten is a little, I don't know, incomplete? I mean, maybe if we're all holding the pendant when time's up, we're all protected." Might as well get that idea out now.

"Good point" She muttered. 13 should survive...but there weren't enough pendants for 13 people. Equally, if in the end, there were more then 13 people alive, that meant they were all supposed to die. But the text said that anybody holding a pendant on day 7 was ensured survival! So if more then 13 lived, and everyone was supposed to die, but so many people had pendants and couldn't die... Contradiction, much??? Her head continued it's steady thrum of pain. "We need to do some scouting" She declared, suddenly. "I doubt that there are many people wandering about in singles right this minute. Almost everybody has at least been smart enough to find a group and stick with it." She glanced over her shoulder, only to see, sadly, that Delta Nine had decided not to join them. She would deal with that when the time came. "Also, I think it might be wise to at least inspect our surroundings a little. Check out those boat wreckages and monuments, try and gather up some intel on this god forsaken place." She kept up her steady pace. She could indeed see groups of people, huddled together, in the distances. But there were dunes of sand that could have been hiding almost anything. She took one swift glance around, and then pointed. "There. Theres a nice high dune we can climb and gain a better perspective of our surroundings. Should be able to see just about everyone on this beach from there." She veered off in that direction for now.

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan. If we can't find anything here, we can always head back to the town... If I say the two of you are allies, my squad won't hurt you. So that way, if we don't find any pendants, we can at least scout and report back."
Eta VII followed after Delta I, although the quick pace was quickly tiring her out. "Um, if we're on a high dune... doesn't that mean that other people can also see us better?"

"Do you have a better idea?" She snapped, once standing at the base of the dune and looking up. She was beginning to get quite hot and sweaty beneath her suit and mask, causing a discomfort that only irritated her headache more. Calm down..calm... She stopped for a moment, looked down. Breathed in and out slowly. Counted to ten. These were her only allies left. She had to try and be a little more civil. "Sorry" She growled. Yes, that would do. Better then ripping off Eta Sevens head. "You're right...we will probably be seen, if anybody is even paying any attention. We could crawl, keep low to the sand, maybe make what we're doing less obvious. But if you do have any other ideas, please, just say so." Delta One would be willing to listen, at least, at this point. The practiced breathing seemed to be controlling her headache a bit and it was making it easier to think things through a little better before acting on impulse.

Eta VII didn't respond at first, mulling over Delta I's response. "I think... if we stay low to the ground and move slowly, it'll be much less likely someone notices us. We can get a decent view that way, at least well enough to know what else we want to take a look at. And then we can be more careful approaching any groups of people we see, stay hidden behind the dunes if possible. Or just avoid them entirely, if the group's too big." She looked over at Delta I. "That should work, I think."
Following Delta I's suggestion, she started up the dune. Once she was nearing the top, she dropped down onto the sand, crawling slowly up to the top before looking over it and around, to see the lay of the land.

Delta One nodded. Good, they had a little bit of a plan! She followed Eta Seven up the side of the dune. Delta Eight could choose to follow them if he wanted, or stay below, up to him really. As she trudged up the sand dune, her leg muscles burned, and her feet sank downwards with every slow step. It was a relief when she could collapse to her stomach and shimmy the rest of the way up, slithering around like a snake, on her way up to the top. Once there, she continued to lay low, next to Eta Seven, and let her eyes wander the landscape set before them. Nudging Seven, she reached out a hand and pointed to one group, looking to be around 4 or 5 people, heading off the beach and on to the path. Looked like they were heading north, which she remembered was the abandoned town. That didn't leave many still on the beach... In the distance, she could see what she assumed was Delta Nine, approaching a lone person. Hmmm..interesting. She felt a pang of guilt. No..no, it's one thing to leave her behind because she's to wrapped up in her emotions to try and survive. It's something completely otherwise to attack her in cold blood. They would have to find somebody else.

Eta VII looked around, really, the people Delta I pointed out were about the only other people on the beach. "It looks like there's some sort of broken, I don't know, statues? Over there. And a boat, I wonder if we can use it? If no one has, though, I'd guess not." Eta VII gestured as she mentioned the various non-people things on the beach. "And two tents, I'm guessing there were squads who started here, just like I started in the town. I suppose we could check them, see if anyone's inside, or if they left anything. I doubt it, though." She wasn't worried about anyone overhearing them, there was no one close by.

"You're right" She sighed. This was turning into yet another complete bust. "We could hang out by the path and jump people who are arriving as well. Though there isn't really anywhere to hide." She lifted up her lip in a sneer behind her mask, then pushed herself back up to her feet. Nobody really watching them, so no reason to hide, right? She brushed the sand off of her suit, then began making her way back down the dune, skidding along and blowing up clouds of sand in her wake. Much much easier going down then it was coming up. She was still sweltering in her suit, however, but her headache had at least faded to a dull thud. When she reached the bottom, she waited for Eta Seven to catch up, then spoke "Lets check out one of those tents, first." And began to walk, towards the nearest tent to their current location (Zeta tent, will exit next post)

Following Delta I's lead, Eta VII stood up and brushed off the sand. "Yeah, sounds good. Let's be careful going in, though, there might be people inside. Better to be careful, in case they take it as an attack." Her own squad had seemed plenty interested on staying put, who's to say other squads hadn't done the same? Still, she followed after Delta I, and when they reached the tent, she paused for a moment.
"Maybe one person should wait outside? Just as a back-up, in case there is someone outside. Maybe, um..." She still hadn't gotten the other Delta's name. "Maybe just the two of us should go in." That said, she brushed aside the flap to go in.

Delta One nodded. Delta Eight could always stand outside and keep watch in case somebody were to approach, and give them fair warning. She followed Eta Seven into the tent. ((Exiting to Zeta tent))

((Entering from Zeta Tent))
Eta VII pushed aside the tent flap and came back out to join the other Delta, who still hadn't given her a name. "Delta I joined the "special test" that was just texted about. I think I'm going to do the same. We did find a map inside, so afterwards we can hopefully find you again, if you don't come." With that, she pressed the button and suddenly disappeared.
