I agree its all on the reasons. If its just because you don't find them atrractive then no it isn't.

You aren't racially hateful (I hope)... you just have different tastes.
Some people don't find women attractive or men attractive, doesn't mean they're sexist.
Personally, I find really large men (I mean very tall and muscular) to be incredibly intimidating so I tend not to find them attractive, but that doesn't mean I dislike them in other ways. I just don't want to date them. It's a prejudice I am not proud of, and am currently trying to challenge in myself.
You're just being naturally selective. That's kinda normal.

I see racism as more of a hatred towards a race rather than a non-sexual unattraction (could not phrase that any worse, double negative >.<), which is what VVhip said. Like, I was listening to this comedian and he even made sense about racism, in that saying something like, "There's a lot of asians in here," is not racist, but saying, "Why the eff are there so many asians here?" Is pretty racist. The first quote was just an observation, while the second carried more weight, see?
I personally find Latina and Asian girls attractive, and some inter-racial mixes of other race.

I agree with the last post. How can it be called racism when it's just another form of sexual attraction? confused

This is true, and though I'd like to be more educated in it, I just think that despite the effort, we try to hide our initial reactions towards certain races, and it just sets off a subconscious that we can't really hide most of the time.

A lot of it is also that it isn't something people choose or do- it's how society is shaped and questioning that norm just doesn't come up much. Have you read " White Privilege: Unpacking the Inadvisable Knapsack"?
