The Rules
Each fighter will start with 500 HP. (unless otherwise stated)
Each fighter rolls 1 100-sided dice.
If you win a roll, you take no damage. If you lose, however, you take damage.
The difference between the rolls determine how much damage is done.
First person to 0 HP loses.
If someone rolls a 100, they automatically win.

Alnette waited eagerly for Morrigan, sword in hand. This was going to be fun. It was pouring outside, but the shielding spell kept the training ground dry.

“Mreh-heh-heh!” Morrigan’s unmistakable laugh echoed as she suddenly appeared out of a puff of purple smoke. Wasting no time with formalities, she aimed her serpentine staff at Alnette and unleashed a bombardment of magical blasts.

Morrigan conjured a shield to protect herself from Alnette’s voracious sword. When iobairt was embedded in the magical shield, it shattered, forcing Morrigan back; shrapnel scrapped against her pale skin.
Assuming an aggressive stance with her staff, Morrigan fired more bursts of energy from her staff.

Again, Alnette was forced into a defensive stance, trying to block Morrigan's energy bursts, though mostly failing. She needed to turn this around.

Overjoyed from her performance, Morrigan began to celebrate prematurely. She waved her staff around and danced about as if she was a teenager. In her jubilation, Morrigan left herself wide open for attack.

Reciting an incantation, Alnette used her trademark spell. Dozens of razor sharp rose petals flew at Morrigan.

Morrigan tried to conjure another shield, but the razor-sharp petals hindered her ability to concentrate. They scratched her skin, drawing just a wee bit of blood.

“Drats!” Morrigan groaned as the roses damaged her skin, with each petal drawing more blood. It was more annoying than anything else, but the damage she was receiving was stacking up.

Seeing that the petals were still effective, Alnette continued the spell. She probably wouldn't be able to keep it up for too much longer, but she'd use it while she could.

Morrigan couldn’t do anything! There was once chance to stop these sharp petals, but that itself was risky.

Alnette continued the petal spell, but watched Morrigan. She hadn't counterattacked since Alnette started using the petal spell.

Seeing that there was little choice, Morrigan made the risky choice of opening her mouth. Flames gushed out of her mouth, incinerating every last petal that fluttered around her. Morrigan then turned her fiery assault on Alnette.
