Greetings everyone,
In Naruto we are familiar with the three man squads. Each squad we've seen have their streangths and weaknesses, some are better than others. Based on individual talent and compatability with the other members of the team. Well anyways, if you could take the Genin and create the best 3 man squad, who would you place on your team?
Here are the rules
1. you can only choose from 12 genin from the Naruto series, all under the leaf village, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Ino, Shikamaru, Chouji, Shino, Kiba, Hinata, Neji, Rock Lee, and Ten Ten
2. You can also pick your Jounin leader to lead the squad.
3. just like in the series, you have to break down the teams with 2 guys and 1 girl. Sorry, can't use three guys or three girls.
As for me, here is the team I would assemble:
Jounin Leader- Gai Sensei, Overdramatic yes, Is He the best jounin there is to place in charge of a squad? Maybe not, but of all the Jounin presented as team leaders, Gai has the most important qualification I would look for, the willingness and desire to work with his team. Not saying the other Jounin don't, but Gai shows more of a desire to want to work with and help the Genin, and I think that is very important.
Squad member 1- Shikamaru, As we've seen, he is very intelligent and an excellent strategist. With the right people on his team he can conjure up countless possible battle plans for many missions.
Squad member 2- Aburame Shino, Just an excellent overall ninja, and one who like Shikamaru is good with strategy, and has abilities that make many of his opponents petrified. His skills can be used in many situations.
Squad member 3- Ten Ten, Of the 4 girls, Ten Ten is the most Athletic, and a great weapons expert. As stated in the Series her aim is perfect, she just doesn't miss, definate signs of an Ambu in the making.

Jounin Leader- Kakashi-sensei, why? Well..as much as I love all the other Jounin leaders, I think Kakashi-sensei would be the best. First off, he knows teamwork and shows it. He's also fun to be around during silly times, but can be serious during the important times.
Squad member 1- Neji, A possesor of the Byakugan, and a intelligent ninja, no less. First off, he can fight very well, and has had alot of training. Second, during a time of a battle or seriousness, he can think logically to get out of any situation.
Squad member 2- Shikamaru, Yup, Shika. He is a very good student, with plently of tricks up his sleeve. I think If he's with Neji, they could surely outsmart any ninja, and then show the power to do so.
Squad member 3- Sakura, she may seem like a wimp at times, but is an excellent fighter. Blessed with strong willpower, she would never give up during a fight. Also very caring, if a team member needed help, she'd be sure to be there rather than just think twice, or leave them.
Based on my choices for a team, it ends up as a smart team. But each member has the strength to match.

Jounin Leader- Gai-sensei, why:because Gai is "overdramatic" like you said which makes him funny sometimes plus Gai also does alot of research for missions so he knows some stuff when he goes into a mission.Also You Can't forget the intense training Gai makes his genin do which makes them improve drastically...
Squad member 1- Shikimaru;;basically because he isa really good leader and he is very strategic in battles wich would help the group so the dont charge into a battle blindly plus his ability to control shadows would be able to freeze opponents could come in handy...
Squad member 2- Rock Lee;;Yes The Beautiful Green Beast of Konoha One he can open 5 gates but he can open two gates with just strain of the tendons and muscles;2 he is really good with Tajitsu;and last but not least he is a natural Drunken Fighter;:and with shikimaru in the group shikimaru could stop the person and allow Rock Lee to use the Omote Renge(Front Lotus) to kick who ever it is a**
Squad member 3-Ino;;I picked Ino for my third member because she can posses bodies of the enemy thus making her the perfect person to scout ahead by taking over another enemies body;;and then she could work well with shikimaru because he can stop them and she can take over their body and use it for whatever purposes they need.

Jonin Leader- Gai, because I love taijitsu.
Squad Member 1- Rock Lee, because he has the potential to become the greatest Taijitsu master.
Squad Member 2- Hinata, because of her gentle fist style, and she is also very cute. 4laugh
Squad member 3- Shino, because I need someone with good ninjitsu. I did not pick sasuke because he is way too moody.

My Jonin is Gai- like some have said he's is willing to work with them, he studies a mission before hand, and cares daerly for his students which means he'll do all that he can for them!
squad member 1- Neji- He's good with Taijitsu and has his Byakugan! As well he's very level headed and would be able to get out of most situations on his own
squad member 2- Naruto- >> Hello can I can Kuuybi!! Plus he's very willful and has a vast heart! He really good at pulling some interesting plans off.
squad member 3- I'd pick Tenten she skilled with her weapons and she's smart as well! where as Ino is a one trick pony if you ask me.. xd

squad member 1- Sasuke (yes I chose emo boy cockatoo hair) - good at nin and genjutsu rest of explanation with squad member 2
squad member 2- Rock Lee - Lee is incredibly good at taijutsu and would create a combination of all the ninja techniques combined with Sasuke and sasuke would make an excellent rival for Lee inspiring him to work even harder (like Neji does)
squad member 3- Hinata - she is hard working and not a Sasuke fangirl so she wouldn't be distracted by having Sasuke on the team
Jonin- Gai - well we cant separate Lee from Gai and as crazy as he is Gai has the hardest training so everyone on the team will get a lot better
