Okie Dokie. So basically this section is for those of you who like pain.
The way it works is simple, you make a thread, people can post in the thread in response to your roleplay posts.
If you are going to post in somebodies thread it is your job to.
1. Point out absolutely everything they did wrong in their post in terms of writing. Do not be mean, but be honest. Say what it made you feel, what you didn't like about it. The only way someone can improve is if they have the opinions of others. We get drawn up into ourselves, and we don't accept the facts of other peoples opinions. This part is cruel, but it is cruelty with a purpose. Talk about all the problems, everything you did not like about their post.
2. Saw how you would have handled it differently. What you would do to improve upon it. What you would add, what you would take out. How would you change the wording. Proofread.
3. Now be nice, and say all the positive things. What are the strengths of the way this person writes? What makes their writing something that truly is Theirs? Tell them what is good, compelling writing.
Now, in response, the owner of the thread should respond as accordingly.
1. Do not get mad, or flustered over what people have to say. We all work hard on our posts, we really do, but no matter how much we love them, the opinions of others really does matter.
2. That being said, take everything with a grain of salt. What one person likes about your writing another person may hate. Take what they said, use it, but do not live by it. They are only human, just as you are.
3. Learn your strengths, and use them.
This is so we can all be better writers. All of you must be honest. You must say all the things that are wrong, don't leave anything out, for sake of courtesy. Be hard, if you are hard, they will learn.

Oh, I love constructive criticsm. heart Is this subforum for people to post work and have it criticized or do people just give feedback on posts they've seen in other areas of the guild?
