Alright guys, I'll be writing my reviews on my Crown Brush items, as well as the company in general.

This is my personal opinion, and I will not withhold any information/concerns that I think you should know before ordering. I'm not being paid for this review.

Company Review

Shipping: heart heart heart heart heart

Time: 3 days (not including the date of ordering)

Price: 7 dollars for Flat Rate. The next cheapest was like 11 or 12 dollars
I ordered at around 8pm or later on a Tuesday, and got it on a Friday. Fast shipping was very important to me, because we were going to my relatives on Friday. So I was worried about it not making it before I left, but it did arrive in time. Taking into account that I ordered at night, it was amazing that it shipped that next day. Then it took 2 additional days to get from the shipping stage to my to my destination. Everything was in perfect condition, in one of those bubble wrap envelopes, and then put in a big bag. The kabuki was in a seperate bag inside of that bag, and the angle liner from a different collection was too. Then all the Italian Badger brushes were in a bag together. So basically it was an envelope, with a big bag, and 3 smaller bags inside of it.

Customer Service Review: heart heart heart heart heart
I didn't have any troubles with my order, so I will say customer service is good in that regard. I cannot however, vouch for anything else, like if they will send replacements, reply to questions quickly, etc. Everything in my order was correct and like I previously said, arrived in mint condition.

Website Review: heart heart heart heart (The site is probably their worst aspect)

Navigation: It's a fairly straight forward site. There is a navigation bar on the side once you get to the "Shop Now" page as well as a search bar, etc. For a cheap looking site, you can get around pretty well.

Design and Coding: (This'll probably be jargon to most of you guys, so feel free to skip it) I am in the process of taking an HTML and Javascript class at my highschool. It's my first experiences of web page design and coding. If I took and understood Flash which is a seperate course, or utilized animated .gifs for the banners, I could've done most of the site. I looked at the source code of the main page, and it uses simple HTML, some cascading style sheet stuff, and some Javascript. The only thing I probably couldn't do is the Javascript. I don't recognize some of the commands.

Also based on a disclaimer in the middle of their code, they either used a free code library for the site, or they hired someone. They don't have website/code staff.

As far as design, it's pretty ugly and noobish. If I was given time and relatively good graphics, I could've done better in that regard. It uses cheap photography of random made-up women for the banner above different collections. For example, the Kabuki collection --not where I got mine, mine is retractable, so it's in the Retractable category-- is represented by what I believe to be an Asian girl with a flower to the right of her face.

Checkout: If you have stuff in your cart, and don't order right away --like in my case, I had to go eat dinner-- your stuff will be gone if you refresh the page, navigate to a seperate page on the site, proceed to checkout, etc. If you click "Update Cart" instead of refreshing however, it will be fine. So if you are about to order, and had the page open and done something else, update your cart. I also reccomend that you did what I did. I copied and pasted my cart contents into a Word Document in case my laptop died, etc.

Alright, now that I have my posts reserved, it is okay to reply if you'd like. I plan on getting the rest done once I finish an English essay that accounts for 35% of my 4th quarter grade. sweatdrop
