Species Supposedly human, now twisted by darkness.

Personality: Quiet and calculating, but when in battle, he is twisted, enjoying the pain he inflicts upon others. He is intellectual, but ignorant with it.

Children: None, his children were murdered long ago.
Biography:
(Please note: This is not a God-mode character, its just a story of legends, and legends are usually over dramatized.)
Legend tells of a man consumed by eternal darkness, bound to the depths of oblivion, from which his soul now resides. The man had traded his spirit for eternal life, and powers to smite those who ever he pleased, so long as he devoured the souls of those who fell by his blade. Driven by hatred and madness, the husk-of-a-man stops at nothing to ensure that everyone suffers just as he had, believe that the realm of the living cares for nothing but their selfish wants.
Before his time of the hollowed void, he had a wife and child. With the calling of war, he was forced into the ranks as a lowly soldier, and for many years he was unable to visit his family. Sights of blood and death burned in his mind.... and it made him ask, what was he truly fighting for? Within that question, he sought out for answers, only to find that it was a selfish struggle for power and a lusting greed that drove the battle.
Infuriated, he persuaded some of his unit to take a stand against what he believed was wrong, only to be betrayed by one of his friends he made during all the time he served. Immediately, he was held captive, and his family ordered for execution. For many years, he was held prison, his mind slowly losing his sanity to silence...
Likes: Causing others pain and suffering, revenge and those seeking it.
Dislikes: Protagonists - those trying to stop him, royalty/nobles, traitors.
Other: Powers of Darkness and Shadow, Hate and Corruption, He can be entranced by beauty (hint hint - if a female character is into villains.)
