Mark 16:1-8
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "

Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

JESUS HAS RISEN!

Friday-Jesus was crucified on the cross, He was tortured and died on the cross for us.

Saturday-He stayed in the tomb all day today, everyone was worried!

Sunday-EASTER-Jesus rose from the dead, He is now up in heaven, awaiting us.

Fun Facts for You- When they came to visit him, the only way the rock could have been rolled open was from the inside! So that is proof that Jesus did roll it, (although faith, if much different from proof biggrin ) Next, In Jewish tradition (which I'm sure all of you are aware that Jesus was born and raised a Jew) The master has a servant, and when he is eating, he folds up the cloth (that the master uses as a napkin) and puts it beside his plate if he needs to get up and do something, He does this to tell the servant "Hey, I'm not done, don't clean up my plate." And guess what; There were cloths inside the tomb, where Jesus layed, and they were folded. This is to tell the world "I am not done here, I will return." Isn't that just amazing? Isn't HE just amazing!?
