Like, just because someone doesn't believe in something, some people suddenly feel the need to "save" this person ALL BECAUSE the beliefs are different. I mean, just because someone doesn't believe in something or anything at all, does not mean they're going to suffer forever. The only reason why some people DO think these people will suffer is the religious knowledge that has been taught to them. Why can't some people just acknowledge the fact that even though people will believe in different things, that doesn't mean go all up in their business and force a belief on them? It's ridiculous. And half the time when people randomly preach to "help" me, the fact that it's just so rude and annoying makes me not even listen more!

Agreed.
My beef with Christianity is that they claim to be all about loving thy neighbour but they're driven by so much fear to 'save' everyone.
To love is to accept. When I see religious fanatics attempting to force other people into religion I feel sad and disgusted.
I've been told I'll go to hell if I don't believe, if I don't have faith, and if I don't change my ways. That is my choice. It is for God alone to judge me... not any other human... if he, in fact, exists...

When I was in year 5 (I can't remember how old I was sweatdrop it was quite awhile ago) I was laughed at for say the we evolved from apes (Ok I now know that we didn't but share a common ancestor, but I was only little!) And I also said that I was going to hell and was happy with it 3nodding
Thankfully these days with the people I encounter I can swing it to more of a debate than an agument.

I know what you mean. My family is completely Fundamental Baptist (Women don't cut their hair, don't get education, wear skirts to their ankles. etc), and I've definitely gotten the bad side of them for my sexuality and choices. One of them had the nerve to tell me that it was MY fault that my mother died....right.
I sum up my feelings with:
"I quite enjoy 'wallowing in my iniquity'. It's not as heavy as your righteousness"
People will always have bad things to say, and there will always be those who try to drag you into their beliefs. Realizing that they don't understand and that they have a lot of learning to do is the simplest way to get over it. They're immature and don't understand individual choices.
