With 649 critters already, you might think we have enough Pokémon. Well, I have a challenge for the PWF: Design your own! Welcome to my Fakemon contest. In this contest, I will award cash prizes to the best fakemons. There are lots of prizes and categories, and you don't need to be an amazing artist to win!

They will be judged on the following criteria: Artistic Merit
Design
Originality RULES----- 1. All entries must be your own design, and anyone found cheating is subject to immediate disqualification. 2. Mail completed entries to TheSilverGriffin titled "PWF Fakemon Contest" 3. All entries must be submitted by Jun 10, 2011.3x. Date extended to July 15. 4. This contest is open to all PWF members! I encourage everyone to give it a shot. 5. You may enter as many fakemons as you want. 6. There are not a lot of rules (No. 1 is a big one though!) have fun and impress me, PWF!

TO ENTER------ Fakemon Entry FormFill out the entry form completely by taking into an image editor. If there is not enough space in the info section, etc, simply abridge or fit it the best you can and attach the text below your entry when you mail it. If for any reason you are unable to fill out the form with a image editor, mail me and I will send you a text form.  Discovered By - Put your name here! Picture - Hand-drawn or pixel, you are, of course, not expected to fill the whole space if you are submitting pixel art. Name - Name your poke! Evolves - List any evolutions here. Species The classification that identifies your Fakemon (it's alright if an existing poke has the same species name, even in canon they sometimes overlap- Pikachu and Rattata are both Mouse Pokémon, for example.) Types - Self explanatory Height/Weight - Try to make it realistic, I used US measurements in the example but there will be no prejudice against you Metric folks. Ability - If your Pokémon has more than one ability, separate with a slash or comma or something. Habitat - Brief description of where you could find your Fakemon. Gender Ratio - If your Fakemon is solely one gender or genderless this would be the place to put it, if not, put the ratio here (the usual M:F ratios are 7:1, 3:1, 1:1, and 1:3) Info - The "flavor text", so to speak, that would appear in the Pokédex.

To be eligible for this award, you must have entered more than one fakemon who are related. These can be related to canon Pokemon so long as there is more than one (i.e., if we were still in Gen I and one person entered Blissey and Happiny, they would be eligible because both of their entries are related to both each other and Chansey.)

Silver Gurufine  I received your entry, Kaze, I will get around to posting it for you soon.
I hope you have enough time, Taco, due date doesn't roll around for almost a month.
If anyone else thinks they will have trouble meeting that due date I'd be open to considering extending it (I really don't want anyone to have to rush!)
There's a lot of gold on the line here, so I better get some more entries! >O now, the party don't start 'til I walk in.
