250-1 odds on her turning him down at the altar. Got m'self a pound on there.
So, are you ready to throw darts at their horsey faces or do you celebrate yet another meaningless tradition which imposes rules that state people are not born equal?
Guess which side I'm on, too. xd

Equal to what? Humans aren't equal to each other even at birth as the law says. I say this based by the matter of wealth, heredity, sex and so forth. Writing it upon paper and decreeing it a staple tradition of trying to stem the flow of societal differences does not mean it is.
To be honest I see this wedding more as a undertone to feudal society. Seeing how it's based in Norman-Anglo tradition.
Also, I'm not shocked you still have these traditions when you still allow nobility and an aristocracy to exist.

I was generally apathetic in regards to the Royal Wedding, I didn't watch it because I chose to work instead, then later take a jaunt to the pub for a cold pint and some decent music.
Both being more fun than watching a tradition I don't agree with.

I thought tradition held that only the bride wears white. (In reference to Pippa's white gown.) Is it not so much that way in Britain?

I never saw the wedding. I did find this to be quite cool, like a The Great Exhibition style.

Well, i didn't watch any of it cause it was just annoying they have enough money to pay for it so why did we have to use our money to pay for then damn thing they wouldn't pay for our weddings so it annoyed me like we don't have any money left they decied to use the innocent tax payer for the damn wedding... The queen makes ove 3 million in a year she could of payed for it herself. And inclusing to me wedding aren't that important. Could of used that for something important like getting us out of debt but oh well that doesn't matter... Oh, and i don't like the royal family theres no point in it they do nothing like in the old area so do we really have any use for them accept for they bring torist... Could but keep the Buckingham palace and get rid of the royal family. Or is this just me being too mean...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but besides security, the royal family did pay for the wedding.
