Odyssey was arranging things busily behind the counter, and thus anyone coming in would not see her unless she stood up straight. The blonde often needed to do busy work so as to contain her happiness and over abundance of excitement.
Though luckily for most costumers she had gotten past the habit of pouncing people as they walk through the door.

Drip. Drip. Drip.
"Huh?" Rose felt little droplets of liquid on her face, her eyes opened slowly as her world became more into focus. As soon as she was aware of her surroundings, she remembered that she had fell asleep in the neighborhood park.
The rain became to down on her harder as she sat thinking on the bench, Rose casually glanced at her now wet watch...
"Oh My Gosh! I'm LATEEE!!" She jumped up and ran toward her destination, onward to a place named Xanthian Internal Affairs.
...
Her breath was ragged, her clothes were soaked through, the bodies that flodded the busy area gave her no glance. Rose made it...a little late. She stood under the sign to Xanthian Internal Affairs, wringing out as much water as she could from her clothes.
'Well better late then never...' Rose turned the knob and made her was inside the building. Curious, she looked around the shop, their was no one, no person here, as she could see.
"Hello?"

Odyssey peeked up from behind the counter and blinked at the damp form that had entered her shop.
"Oh my! Come in, come in!" She stood up straight leaning on the counter smiling brightly, "Are you alright? Need a seat? You look as if you were running for miles and miles." The blonde twittered on concernedly for Rose's wellfare.
"Your name is Rose right? You're here for an item?" It made no sense to stop, after all if the other woman was supposed to be here that made things all that much easier! Rose'd get a nice warm and dry place to hang out at for a while, and Odyssey'll have completed another 'delivery' of sorts!

Rose glanced at Odyssey, slightly relieved that she...meaning Odyssey, was well a she.
Rose snapped back from her thoughts and replied, "I'm just a bit um cold...not a problem, I only get sick when I am stressed. To answer your other question, sure I'll take a seat."
Rose notices that she is mumbling so she snags a chair that was seated near her.
She blinks, 'How could I forget!?'
She faces Odyssey, tries to remain calm and then smiles, "I am Rose and yes, I'm here for an item. Though I don't know much about it..."
Rose's eye twitched, 'I feel like an idiot.'

Odyssey smiled and nodded, "Well, your item as we had discussed is a cat plush." She brought out the item for Rose to clearly see, "Feel free to ask questions about anything you are curious about." Oddy added after a few moments before going silent for a brief second and continuing.
"The item was once human and lived in a land called Xanth which is full of magic. She came to us because she wanted to start a new life else where. However, the potion we used turns her into an item. The potion that turns her human again has a side effect. The side effect turns her into a baby. So not only does she need guidance but care." Odyssey tapped the counter before her and then added, "She may, or may not remember anything of her past life."

As Odyssey brought out the kitty plush, Rose's eyes brightened. She then spoke, "Actually you answered all my questions..."
Rose smiled widely and then stood from her chair, "I will try my best to raise her!"
She then looked toward the kitty plush, 'I'm going to be a Mom!'

She felt quite proud of herself since she apparently answered any or all impending questions! Odyssey felt that she surely must be getting better at this, "Alright then! Just give me a name for her and I will see if your journal is ready. You may hold the plush for a while, too if you want." She placed the plush on the counter and got the certificate and poked her head in the backroom.
A mumbled conversation takes place and then the blonde's head reappears, "Just a few moments! Now, a name?"

Rose picked up the kitty plush and held her gently, a smile appeared on the young woman's face.
"I would like to name her Daja...It mean kindness in Indian."
Even though Daja was a plush, Rose stroked her and giggled.
She curiously looked to where Odyssey was, and added, "Is there anything else you need to know?"

Odyssey smiled at Rose and nodded, "Very suitable name." She idly complimented as she wrote it down. While she did this a short gnomish old man hobbled out and nodded at Rose.
Humfrey nodded at Rose, "Good day, miss. I am Humfrey Two, I'm very busy so if you don't mind.." He turned and hobbled away. There was a faint strain to his tone, as if it was difficult for him to remain polite for long periods of time.
Odyssey rolled her eyes once the short man disappeared back into the other room, "Don't mind him. He's just not a people person." Once the ink had dried on the certificate she slid it into the journal and placed the plush gently on top, "Nothing yet, just be careful with the plush. Don't let it get harmed and such." She smiled at Rose happily.

Rose replied slowly, for she was thinking about the future of Daja.
...
Rose blinked and giggled slightly as Humfrey came and went.
"What an odd man..."
She glanced at Odyssey and added, "...When something comes up just contact me. I'm available at any time. I will be very careful with Daja, she is in good hands."
The young woman picked up the plush with the most care and grabbed at the journal.
"I would like to thank you and I should get going, I have to go shopping for some items....for Daja's arrival."
Rose smiled excitedly and made her way out of Xanthian Internal Affairs.
'I have a family now...'

Odyssey just let Rose go waving after her. She knew the young woman would call if she runs into any issues.
