Why do I get the feeling there is gonna be a war/battle/feud/conflict over the control of Veridian's underground? Every one seems to be teaming up on me, but I shall not go down without a fight. I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the ordeal of meeting me is another matter. I hope you feel the same.

I clearly worded it that his place of business was a fair bit outside the city. Specifically so you wouldn't react like you are now. I have tried to be Courteous and it would seem it has failed.

If there isn't some conflict in this RP, nothing interesting will happen. You just happened, by chance, to be the one Holly has decided to target for either assimilation or destruction. Take it as you like, but an RP where everybody is all nice and friendly just does not make for an entertaining story.

Both of you shut the hell up. Sayla, the boy doesn't need conflict right off the bat; the RP isn't without that already. Your a very intelligent individual, but to serious, you lack the ability to be respectful sometimes in doing so with your seriousness.
Xeo, calm down; its not that serious, its an RP. True, if you feel that way your obligated too. If you also don't wish conflict so soon you also have that right as well and considering its your character; such has to be respected regardless of what Holly wishes. All the same, keep in mind; you'll be gunned for later on.
As a business in a whole and so on, the two of you work in shady business. That business is filled with ruthless individuals and cut throats. The bottom line is, neither one of you will catch way clean in a good rise of profits; especially if you go about it in violent mannerisms. Best way to beat the other fair and square is to one up until the other falters behind. Now that may sound stupid, but keep in mind, if your out of order, both of you will be arrested by the knights.
So far no one has been arrested because there hasn't been any public law breaking done outside of the villain who went about kicking Marcus's half demon a**. Then there was Mr. thief who had his theft repaid far worse (lol love sick puppy). All the same, both of you should be able to work about some compromise rather than anything being remotely visible or liable to turn into a stupid argument over RPCs and the RP.
I may not be a mod, but I'll be damned if something like this escalates via RP or OOC. I'm sure any mod would agree, you need to compromise.

I was actually just making conversation I don't care all that much about the situation. Though the fact that you do is quite amusing in itself. =D Also I could be out of line for saying this, but I don't really take kindly to folk who don't know me telling me to "calm down" . When they have no basis for the comparison of me being calm or not calm. =D Now I'm going back to being quiet Xeo so I don't cause any problems for myself.

You just did, what was the point in being smug when all you had to say was that you were calm? No need to be a ******** p***k, especially when its clear you couldn't finish the thing as a whole on a reasonable end. I was just lending aid while calming what could have turned into a quick spat, no need to turn focus on me in such a way; I didn't deserve that at all. Mocking me, that's real mature.

Well I would agree on some points of your statement there thyier, and I also agree with Xeo and Sayla. There does need to be conflict in a RP in order for the RP to be successful, I agree everyone being all lovey dovey gets annoying at times. A good example for the written rp genre is D&D, why do people play it? For the Conflict.
Now about the whole underworld situation, you are all involved in shady happenings. True the thieves guild was around longer, so if it was me I would think that Holly becoming so successful would be a threat to my business, just like if I were in Holly's shoes I would want the big guy out so I could take over. Now I think that we should all beable to Rp the way we want(with limits of NOT Godmodding, or breaking the TOS) and should be ready to roll with the consequences of our actions. That being said, if you decide to have an all out brawl in the streets, expect resistance from the Knights and other 'Goodies'. But this being an Underworld issue I would like to think that you would want to try an d avoid that situation and keep the fighting, well in the underground. And who's to say if there will even be any fighting? with these types of characters all the 'fighting' may be purely political in a way.
And thyier, how can you calm a situation by getting in someone's face like that. If anything you would need to calm down. Especially when you are not a part in the original conversation, yes you can lend advice, but if you want to try to play the mediator, do it right.

Haha =D I would like to point out that I am In fact a Douche Bag. 60% of the s**t I say can not be taken seriously and must be taken with a grain of salt. I'm just looking for conversation Mr. and confrontation often leads to the best ones. =D I'd also like to point out I have no ill will towards you or Miss Girl. =D And though it may lose some of it's potency when I have to point it out. I would still like to say that once you get to know me you'll find I'm a lovable type of Douche Bag.
