This is part of the introduction to a story I am working on. And, since I don't like to get very far without setting the mood at the beggining, I would like some input on what I have so far.

One thing that I am not sure about, is if I should keep the really... I guess complaining feel to it or not. The beginning is a bit gloomy, but I think that fits for this section of the story.
