The team will operate out of Hematite and Alkaid's apartment - their 'home base' of sorts. Members of the team would be put on shifts throughout the week, both night and day, and would have to remain in the apartment while they were on call. Day shifts would, of course, be a little more lenient considering there is usually less activity during the daylight hours.

The apartment will eventually become a hubbub of activity. Hematite, Alkaid and any active members on shift would all be there at any given time. There will be sleeping arrangements made for members on night shifts and probably various forms of entertainment to keep them from growing absolutely bored during the downtime. Logically, there will be a lot of downtime, considering emergency calls might not happen every night. If you have a character that is not patient and doesn't get along well with others, this might not be the place for them!

GUARD will recruit both part time and full time members.

• Part time members would be people from other teams volunteering to take a shift with the permission of their team leader. This would involve once a week or less, ICly, and would be mostly only when the team needed them.
  
• Full time members would be people who have no other team but instead devote their full time to GUARD. They would be booked for shifts multiple times a week.

Both of my nega-aligned characters could have various degrees of involvement in this -

Fluorite is an high school student, and has her own team, so part-time. I am figuring she could do one night a week and the weekend so that it doesn't harm her energy delivery output, at least to start with. Ashley is used to work on about 4 hours of sleep a night (she's been doing this for years) but too much and it's gonna look suspicious, especially to her parents, and she doesn't want that. As she ranks up and get lt quota to help fill her own I can see her squeezing in another night if needed.

I would really like if Alkaid could teach her how to bandage and take care of wounds, this way they could have at least another pair of hands when s**t hits the fan.

Alunite isn't corrupted yet, but he should be by the time this gets started. He's meant as a floater under Fluorite that will go wherever he's needed, so also part-time. He's a DCU kid, so slotting him in for shifts might be a little more complicated as his classes and internships move from semester to semester. I see him more of a technical agent - he could oversee supplies and keep a database of sort and restock when Alkaid and Hematite get low on supplies, in order to make sure they never miss anything. It would take some stress off both the co-leaders, especially at the start, I think, if they knew someone is handling this.

More interesting to GUARD is Alunite's power. His normal and super attack pretty much makes any corrupted being invisible to non-corrupted beings for a short period of time. It doesn't mask their energy signatures, but makes them hard to pinpoint directly. He could use his power on himself to pass through enemy lines, or use it to the person needing rescue so that they could get far enough to be teleported away safely. At super level his power can target three beings, so he could even send up a small squad if needed.

Feel free to ask for whoever you feel will be more useful to GUARD, or even both ! I am going to try to minimize playing them both at the same time as much as possible, but I can play them separately as you need.

Right, so, I'm gonna go ahead and cave... and sign Ametrine up for part-time. Seems like the kind of thing she'd want to be a part of.

Yes, yes, yes! Alkaid would love to have her there and would be more than willing to help teach first aid and stuff.

Once there are more members, they could probably make Sera a part-time leader since she's a General. So instead of Hema and Alkaid going out and heading the big teams all the time, they can take shifts and have nights off where other higher ranks (like Sera) take care of it. >3>

SO, UH, I haven't gotten her nega art yet but Guen/Lt Gypsum might be a good fit for this group? She's cooperative and excellent at following orders. She also spends her weekends with her dad at his apartment downtown, so we could pretend it's the same apartment complex, or really near it.

During the week she has school and is with her mother, but she could always try the 'sleeping over at a friend's' excuse (maybe with Ametrine, if she's still a student at Crystal, or Serandite?). I UM, I MEAN I ASSUME THAT'S HOW NEGAVERSE/SENSHI KIDS get away with adventuring the niiiight away, if they don't have a conveniently located first floor window. XD;

Her weapons are...Some really sweet pumps. AND A SNAPPY DRESS SENSE. <3
