I recently saw this movie in 3-D with my boyfriend
& I will have to say.... it wasn't all that bad
Sure it had the same storyline every disney/pixar movie has-
a somehow troubled main protagonist, in this case it's a rare blue macaw from south america who can't fly & lives in michigan with his bird loving owner (her name escapes me)
& having an environmentalist propose that her bird, Blu; being the last male of his species mate with the last female of his species, who's name I believe was Jewel. But anyways, the story evolves from there with the voice talents of Jamie Fox, the 'not so funny' George Lopez, Ann Hathaway, & that nerdy kid from Zombieland.
But if you want to see a colorful musical movie filled with
feathered fiends- Rio is the movie for you.
In the end, it was worth the 12 dollars & stale popcorn.
