Biography: Unless you're a priest, a professor or a prince, the only way to make it to high society is to be involved in banking, or the cloth trade, Heilgrund does both. Independently wealthy, he is the oldest male heir in an aristocratic family. Bankrolled by his family fortune and loan interest, he has come to Veridian in order to monopolize the cloth industry here. From farmer, to spinner, to weaver, to dye maker, to seamstress, to tailor all the way to the used clothing dealers, he wants a piece of the action. Unabashed and financially stone of heart, he wants nothing more than to buy favoritism by lending out money and supporting the most favorable investments, and then having them pay their loans back with what ever they can.
