Greetings, this is the place where you can post new Network banners, and where I will place "retired" banners for later. These banners will be saved in my hard drive as well, for additional back up.
Extremely good Banners, and Image maps will end up on the front page, while other banners will be used as signatures.
The network banner maximum width is 640, and I would like to keep the image under 360,000 (600x600). The image map banner we are trying to keep at between 200x500 and 252x640. Unless it is animated or very image dense (layering/image map), please avoid submitting an image greater than 100kb. JPG is preferred over GIF unless animated, PNG is pretty but must be small to fit the 100k requirements. BTMAP = NO. if you need me or bw-inc to convert and compress your image to something more TOS viable, we can do that. (I hope she doesn't mind being volunteered, - I wouldn't ask anyone to do soemthig I'm not willing to do myself).
If you have a really cool image you need compressed, please post the link and NOT the image, it is considered spam and eats up bandwidth.
The first 3 posts will be reserved for our "archived" Network banners.

The Alphas taken down around 02/12/05, this is the network's very first banner. ^_^ In a month or two, i created this one. I liked it overall, though it might have come off as somewhat sexist xp which is why i created the next one... Perhaps the hardest banner I'd ever created, this was a splice of animated imagery and Mediterrainian symbology. Created sometime around february, and taken down around May 2nd 2005, this was the definitive "Alexandria" banner. Too bad I was required by TOS to digitally neuter the main character. Taken down june 26th, made May 2nd 2005, we were going for a more "Intellectual" look.

If you're going to try to make a banner for the guild, how do you turn it into a hyperlink so you can click on it and transport yourself to The Network's Home Page?

Two more Banners ^_^
well that makes three, eventually we can store a bunch of them in this post, I'll add the full code later for those who need it (or one of the many many crew can edit this post to reflect the id=229 when they get the chance)

This is my custom one I did of a combination of D&D pictures, along with some nice grayscaling. The Motto on the banner I feel suits The Network best. This is more for members to use as sig banners more than anything.

Michael Noire thats pretty cool, but what exactly is meant by grey scale? oddly, i just got back from reading one of our newest crew member's acknowledgement of the current Greylist. xd You know the whole argument of "black and white"? How some see only the black, and some see only the white? Well, Network tries to see both sides fairly, or the "grayscale" of things, or in this case, the Roleplaying area of interest. In other words, we are not bias. (Well, most of us)

ahh ^_^
balance. Well, i'm one of the first persons to admit that Michael Noire is one of the most over powered cheese characters out there. I don't think I would approve the character myself, as an objective viewer. Then again any clown with a rubber chicken is God to a bunch of 5 year olds.
What i think is funny is people are like "wow thats too powerful" and i have to laugh because I dropped the character astronomically to play them in gaia (literally pulled out an RPG book and made a new character from scratch). If people only knew that even after gaining back as much as he has, Noire is actually 52 orders of magnitude weaker than he used to be (10 sexdecillion times weaker) perhaps they would be more forgiving... then again.. probably not blaugh
