Disguised as an abandoned factory north-east of the Raccoon Park, the P-12A Waste Disposal Facility, also known as the "Dead Factory", was built by the Umbrella Corporation for the 'safe' disposal of Bio-Organic Weapons, unwanted experiments, and general organic waste sent from local laboratories. Using a special type of gas to break down the organic matter of specimens dropped into a large dissolving pool within the facility, the dead factory is able to efficiently dispose of a large quantity of infected or dangerous material.

a lone man sat quietly in a darkened room staring at a bank of computer screens watching silently as the many different survivors went about in their own attempts to survive the situation that they found themselves in, noting there methods and keeping an eye on any group that particularly caught his interest. Pausing for a moment to think about his job in this particular city he frowned, "Download research data on all active projects in the Raccoon Facilities. Gather combat data on how the BOW's interact with and execute their primary functions. Eliminate key personnel within the city. Ensure asset security when other agents arrive to remove packages. Mission parameters will update as you proceed" shrugging he returned his attention to the monitors to catch the end of a chase that had been going on for a couple of minutes. Some college kid thought it would be a good idea to sprint through an alley way to avoid a horde of infected. Judging from his silent screams on the camera and that he was being ripped apart by several infected at this very moment, it was not a very good decision. At that moment a small chirrup could be heard coming from one of the pouches on his harness. Pulling reaching down, the man fished out a small PDA and with a practiced motion activated it. Reading a secured email from his handler. ' Suspicions confirmed, outside interference inbound. activate air defense grid systems : Acknowledge Y/N' quickly responding affirmative the man flipped his PDA closed standing up and gathering his tools stepping over to one of the computer terminals he reached out and picked up a portable hard drive that was connected to the machine and disconnected it storing that as well. Typing in several lines of commands, he activated the facilities auto-air defense grid and then ordered for a system scrub the man pulled out a brick of C4 and set it down on the computer. activating the timer before leaving the room moving on to the next location he would have to go to get all of the data he needed, heading for the surface the man drew and checked his weapons and ammunition, it would not do for him to get eaten. Stepping out in to the light the man moved quickly in the direction of his goal. And nothing, not person or weapon would stop him from achieving his goal.
