Now, I'm not sure if anyone's ever listened closely to Route 2, but...
If you guys listen very carefully, by plugging in any Stereo Headphones in your DS, and you start walking, you'll start hearing drums and cymbals.
Now on a certain part of Route 2's theme, you'll even hear a Blowing Whistle.
But the thought also occurs to me. If you're either in your Menu, or do nothing on the Route, the Drumming, Cymbals, and the Blowing Whistles will not occur.
Has anyone ever noticed this?

It was pointed out to me on a YT video. I was sad I couldn't find the Route 2 OST with the drums and cymbals, and it was because they only play when the player is walking/running on the route.
I don't think I noticed the blowing whistle, though.
