So this past Thursday in NJ I saw my first ever Rammstein concert. Coincidentally, it was also my very first ever concert seeing a major band perform.
AND IT WAS FLIPPIN' EPIC.
It was such an experience seeing them live, and I still think part of me is there. I haven't stopped wearing the t-shirts or listening to the music since. Till and the band glare/grin cheekily down at me from the poster on the wall over my bed.
Just, everything about it was so incredible and over the top. My dad doesn't understand why they just don't sing the music without all the bells and whistles. He didn't go, so I am hard pressed to put it into words just WHY the theater and the fire are just as vital to the show as the music. That it's as much a show for the eyes as it is for the ears. Oh well, I wouldn'tve traded that experience for anything in the world, and I hope they come to the United States again (maybe next time to Philly? Hint hint, band...). My first time seeing them perform and, like a drug addict, I am already craving more. Should there be a next time, I want to be right up front.
I'm sorry if this thread is out of place, but I couldn't find somewhere more appropriate to post. Maybe this could be a thread for other members' concert experiences and feelings though?
Top favourite moments: -Till's giant flaming "Engel" wings. -The "p***y" cannon. -Till ******** sex god Lindemann, in general. -Flake's crowd surfing (lol he got capsized) and general hamminess in his spangly jumpsuit. -EVERYTHING ELSE.

I'm very happy to see that Rammstein was your first concert! Unfortunately for you, that means no other band will ever compare. lol.

Not really, but you'll have to spring for all the Rammstein concerts now. I'm addicted. I'm currently working my butt off getting extra money JUST to fly to Vegas for a CHANCE to get in.
