Physical Appearance: Steven is a tall man bearing handsome features. He is lean and muscular even though he spends much of his time sitting in tables doing designs; the fact that he goes mountain trekking on his free time must be the most contributing factor to his well-formed physique. He has dark brown hair and has hair that looks like that it's been constantly ruffled. Nonetheless, this seems to accent more of his charming physical appearance. From time to time, he wears an old fashioned horn-rimmed glasses especially when he spends a great deal amount of time working; he does avoid wearing the "horrible" glasses on most moments though.
Personality: Steven is polite and pleasant to be around. However, on moments when he gets frustrated and tired, he become downright rude and logical, all traces of emotional side of his persona disappearing completely. He would most likely snap at people especially if he finds a situation "idiotic enough" to be mad at. On the other hand, he can be a very warming person to be around. He normally helps people around as best as he could although he has a large tendency to laze around. Also, when not influenced by exhaustion and stress, he is known to possess an unusually optimistic outlook on life and those everything around him, thinking that in "every single day, there will always be darkness later on but also light to look up to."
Skills: Steven is very calculating and logical, if not influenced by frustration and stress. Due to his career and experience with mathematics, he can be very good in handling much brainstorms regarding numbers. A bad side of his is that he can be an idiot when it comes to computer technology. In fact, he finds it difficult to handle newer-designed phones. He also has a knack of memorizing maps and floor plans of buildings and structures in a mere glance, much implying his experiences in taking up architecture.
Biography: Steven was born in Bridgton, Maine. Soon after his fifth birthday, his parents divorced and he was forced to move into a place as far as Manila City, Philippines with his mother and sister; his father was left in Bridgton. Steven never had the chance to see his father ever since he was five. His mother, on the other hand, tried her best to cope up with the separation and raising Steven and his elder sister, Marianne. This was no simple job; even when Steven was a kid, he knew that his mother had struggled very hard to raise them and get her two children to college. Several times before, she mentioned that their father was "sending some money" for the two but Marianne and Steven never believed this. Strangely, they never knew the exact reason why their parents separated.
Whilst in Philippines, Steven grew up well and graduated from University de Santo Tomas (UST) from BS Architecture as his choice. After several years of working, he helped his mother in the expenses she had to spend in Marianne's schooling. Also from the same university, she took Nursing although she still had a few years more to finish since she started late due to course shifting for several semesters.
When Steven reached the age of 26, he moved from Manila to Raccoon City in a job opportunity. Though far, he also thought this would make him closer to his father and perhaps meet him without his mother's knowledge (she warned him never to meet his father ever again). She was reluctant at first to let his son go but she did anyways. After a few months of working at an architectural firm, he gained a position as one of the head architects. It was also these times when he managed to contact Rufus Richardson, his father, and asked him to meet him in Raccoon City for several days. His father, of course, was delighted to accept his offer and agreed to join his son for the first time in Raccoon.
However, on the day his father was to arrive from Maine, the outbreak happened...

Profession: Field Reporter of the Raccoon City TV News Station "Raccoon 7"
Physical Appearance: Elena is not so tall and has well-formed physique. Due to her constant gym attendance (she attends kick boxing sessions, too) on her free time, she maintained a well fitness. She has long, ebony black hair and constantly keeps it in a ponytail. She normally wears her uniform whenever going out for field reporting (which comprises a skirt and blazer), but she does wear jeans if she can help it.
Personality: Elena Hearthrome is generally timid and quite on most moments, thus causing a slight confusion to all of her colleagues about her job as a reporter. Nonetheless, her timid persona does not affect her performance at all as she does her best in her job. When spoken to, she responds as comfortable as she can and may express opinions regarding lots of matters. She is often conceived in a pessimistic kind of personality although she getting the hang around it to be as optimistic as she can.
Skills: Elena is trained to become socialize with people, due to the requirements of her job and what she trained in college. Due to this, she is good in making acquaintances that she can ask for help for her journalism job. Aside from this, she is an excellent archer; back in her college days, she is the ace player of her college's archery varsity.
Biography: Elena Hearthrome was born in Sydney, Australia. She's the only child of Christian and Jessica Hearthrome. She lived most of her teenage life in Sydney but when she reached 18 for college, she and her parents transferred to Raccoon City due to his father's job transfer (his father was a doctor who moved to Raccoon City General Hospital). She studied Mass Communication at Raccoon City College and graduated with promising marks.
Ever since her graduation at the age of 21, she pursued work at Raccoon 7, a news station in local television. Due to her enthusiasm in work (despite her awkward off-cam personality), she was promoted to field reporting in a matter of months. Once or twice, she was offered to take a news anchor job later on but refused as she liked field reporting.
When the outbreak occurred, she was sent to investigate the causes of the incident equipped only with a hand-held camera.
Weapons: She owns a composite bow she got from a bow shop.
