Just let me know when we are in need of a new Bug gym leader. also, I could be a great priority as a Fire gym leader as well

You'll swoop from incredible highs when you're just glad to be alive,
to those lows when you wish you were dead.
And just when you start thinking that you've accepted who you are,
that changes,
too.

If there is an opening for a gym leader position, there will be an announcement made. As it is, none of the gym leaders are dropping out. And Bug and Fire are already taken and that's not going to change soon.

Because who you are is not permanent.
