Amenophis had been standing out in the open surrounded by trees getting some sun. He didn't want to get to much sun because it would make him really hot with his gold. He was relaxing and just enjoying the day. His mind began to wander as he began to think about a lot of things.

Today had been a rather warm one, full of buzzing bugs, and twittering birds that took advantage of such an occasion. For the small mare, she found it to be no different than any other, though one where shade would be a necessity to visit often. Dark hooves pressed through long blades, nose low to the ground, nudging a few of the patches that seemed to brim with a lush appearance. Nibbling some tips, she decided that this would be an appropriate place to graze for awhile. It was sweet, the greens, dressed in a moisture from the light mist earlier in the day. How enjoyable.
Blonde tail flicking lazily behind her, black cupped ears twirked and swiveled, catching the scent of another horse nearby from the passing wind. Bright blue's peeking open, Ferra glanced to either side of her current position, slowly lifting her head while finishing off the last bit of her snack. Not too far, she could see a stallion taking his break in the shade from the relentless sun. Grinning slightly, she watched him just a moment longer before returning to her meal.

Amenophis was extremely distracted from his thoughts because a rather unique colored mare had stepped into his line of vision. She was a pretty thing but he wasn't really interested, he got to his hooves but didn't stray from the shade. He didn't want to get hot after being so cool, he was sure that if he was to stray from his shade, it wouldn't take seconds before he began to get hot. He remained standing in his shade but continued to watch her eat some of the grass. When she looked over at him, he smiled at her but he wasn't sure that it would be seen so he stopped after only a few seconds of smiling.
His mind drifted off on thoughts about the mare, what she was like, what her name was and even more what did she like to do. He shook his head and tried to clear his mind of thoughts that would probably get him in trouble. Being the stud that he is, there was quite a lot of interest in him for mating and of course off spring. He wanted someone who could change him, make him to be softer and not so bold and daring.

She didn't move as he stood, nor showed any more interest towards the stallion, continuing her light grazing. Though that shade looked nice, the grasses out here exposed to the sun were rich in flavor and nutrition. Ears flicking softly as wind trundled by, the mare took a few steps to more fresher patches, minding her own business.

Amenophis was debating on leaving his shade and joining the mare in eating grass. He wanted to at least know her name, with that thought he decided to move from his spot. Slowly he walked out to the mare and stopped just a few inches from her and began to eat some of the grass for himself. He wasn't hungry at all but he wanted to just get closer and slowly form a conversation.
