I don't know if this forum is still active, seeing as I haven't been on Gaia in a year. What do you guys think of the beta? I'll probably respond a year from now so...

Nah, the guild isn't really active anymore. I'm sure it will be once Gears 3 comes out though.
In regards to the Beta though, I really liked it. It improved the sluggish feeling I had from Gears 2. Respawning was a problem but I know that's something they are addressing. I'm also glad they decided to use dedicated servers; host advantage was so much bullshit.

I agree about the spawning it was a little like call of duty when you get a shitty team going against a amazingly awesome team, you get spawn trapped and there is no way to win pretty much.
The thing I'm glad they fixed was the sniper they even made it better how you can pull the trigger and the bullet lags so you can slide the crosshair over the head just in time.
